Thank you! Honestly probably sounds more like Pentagle than Syd, but hey Spectacles does kind of rhyme on Pentagle, so it all makes sense.

Heard this proper floorfiller ("Turndown Service" by JKriv) on Craig Charles funk'n'Soul yesterday... But could only find a 1'30 preview on't net. Funky as, mind! https://www.juno.co.uk/player-embed/SF1093528-01-01-01.mp3/?pl=true&ed=25-06-15 -
Absolutely love that Herbie era too. No I think Tiago moved that Warwick along some years back as I've seen him after that rocking a Sire at one point.

This is a good solution ,but make sure you use a DI box that has the necessary attenuation (not all do and those which do tend to be more expensive and use high quality transformers, such as Jensen). If you're using a valve amp (not applicable with a Rumble, I know), you need a box that provides a dummy load to to the amp to avoid destroying your output transformer.

Price drop - £155 includes UK postage Hi, I’m selling my Aguilar Octamizer version 2. Well looked after and very little use. £185 price includes UK Postage. Here’s a bit of info from Aguilar: AN ALL-ANALOG OCTAVE PEDAL THAT CREATES A WIDE RANGE OF MUSICAL SOUNDS AN OCTAVE BELOW YOUR BASS SIGNAL. Modeled with old school and new school needs in mind, the Octamizer features independent volume controls for both the Clean and Octave sounds. This makes dialing in the exact amount of each a cinch. The two discrete signal paths also have their own tone controls that were specifically designed to enhance and expand their musical possibilities. The CLEAN TONE control uses a full spectrum tilt EQ, allowing for the boosting of treble while cutting bass or boosting of bass while cutting treble. This unique circuit allows you to create a clean sound that creates an octave doubling effect or to blend the sounds together for a great thick, snarky synth tone. *Pedal powered by universal 9-volt power supply only. Not included. Proprietary detector circuit for superior tracking Continuously variable multipole low-pass filter for Octave sound Dual filter architecture Full spectrum tilt EQ for clean sound Pedal powered by universal 9-volt power supply only. Not included. Cheers! Michael

Sushi Box FX Grand Slampegg with NOS Valve - £400 Delivered in UK. Purchased direct from Sushi Box at the beginning of the year. Boxed and in mint condition. I replaced the valve with a JAN TUNG SOL Black Glass NOS valve which was highly recommended by B15 enthusiasts at an additional cost of £75. https://www.sushiboxfx.com/product/grand-slampegg/ https://www.langrex.co.uk/products/6sl7gt-vt229-jan-tung-sol-black-glass-nos-valve-tube-lc30/ It is a beautiful pedal but I don't have room for it on my pedalboard so it has seen little use as my main preamp is a Caveman Audio BP1. Potential buyers are welcome to demo in Glasgow.

Before it came into use as a ' substitute' for rosewood, I'd always assumed pau ferro was a premium option, seeing it on Sadowskys and higher spec Fenders (such as SRV strat) etc. I've never owned a bass with a pf board, but I from what I've heard suspect I would like it!

You can certainly get excellent value at GH, with very little risk. Even more so if you attend and bid in person. Congratulations on a very good buy.
