  1. Past hour
  2. I’ve used a similar adapter with a 9V 100mA pedal and it worked fine since the pedal only pulls what it needs. Just make sure the polarity matches.
  3. It’s arrived and it’s like an old friend coming home ! Needed setting up, action was very high and the Rosewood fretboard was drier than a nuns chuff ! Anyways fretboard done, frets polished and action set and she’s ready to play

  4. I’m reiterating here as there’s been a bit of chatter related to this on the MXR bass synth thread. I’ve finally had a bit of headspace to flesh out a nice UI for an old idea of mine to allow for the ability to copy/move patches on the pedal itself without recourse to the editor. It would only require a minor alteration to the current store workflow. I’ve sent it to the team. It remains to be seen whether the underlying system will easily allow it.
  5. Liking this a lot! OoI what do you do about the keyboard parts when you gig?
  6. It's an image thing isn't it? Having said that if I found myself needing to play an F-style bass because of the band look, I'd prefer it not to say "Fender" (or "Squier") on the headstock.
  7. I just sold the Geddy Jazz so in a fit of generosity (and maybe even getting the basses collected at the same time, conveniently for me) I would take an offer of £750 to include UK delivery
  8. I was recently on a gear kick and realised that one part of my set up that I just have no desire to change at all was my amp and cab. I posted this thread over 7 years ago and I'm still using the exact same amp and cab (and cable in the pic). Still in tone heaven. It was a really hard move away from the Barefaced Big Twin T I had at the time, and it was even harder resisting going for a smaller barefaced... but having tried the 1212L in person, I couldn't deny what my ears told me. I dread the day either of these give up the ghost! ha
  9. Among my many favourite songs is Perfidia by Phyllis Dillon , and I recently came across this version by junior English at 3.53, I’m quite liking it
  10. Sold through eBay
  11. I had the guitar version of this Dano in my shop, briefly, it sold immediately to a collector. Heavy old lump. Quite fancy the bass version, (No stoppit,aw go on etc')
  12. Just about to post these but thought I would take a look. They are much smaller than I imagined. They have sent you a few. You should be able to fit them but if not, the offer still stands.
  13. Ehm, isn’t there a typo? 🤦‍♂️😂
  14. In theory this ought to be possible as the patch files contain a 32-character name already. That could easily be done in the next update. (Even before as it’s just a question of assembling them and uploading the bank file to the cloud.) I presume rhetorical. Mainly because no one has bothered to do any. I did get Panda to send Gaz Williams a unit with the express outcome that he’d record a video but a year on he’s still not got around to it! I’ve just revived an old idea of mine for being able to move patches around on the pedal without recourse to the editor as I’ve finally had the headspace to flesh out a nice UI for it. Let’s see if it’s possible as regards the actual coding.
  15. Will there be Stingray shaped necks available 3 over 1? Thanks
  16. Hi @mattpbass, that looks exactly like what I need, I'm gonna look into it. I'm pretty handy with Garage Band and I have an audio interface, but as you say the stitching is a faff. Many thanks
  17. Even though this is a year old and you are still looking for them, drop me a line with accurate dimensions and and I'll print some for free Rob
  18. I use a BC208 Cab with a Warwick Gnome 300 and it sounds incredible. I'm interested in actually trying one of the little TCE heads with it but the Warwick sounds so good, I'm reluctant to make a change.
  19. Mu-tron Octavider + Pedal Mutron octaver and fuzz in one pedal with a ring modulator option too. It’s a nice neat little unit and runs off a pedalboard or 9v power supply - not included. This is from the recent Mutron reissue series of pedals. Construction is of a very high quality. Excellent working condition - one cosmetic chip to the paint on fascia. Comes boxed with manual. See link below to see how it works with bass. You can get some nice synth and grungy sounds with it. I bought it on a whim to try it out however as much as I like it I’m more of a keyboard/synth player than a person who uses pedals so it’s been left unplayed. UK postage included. No trades. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=UVfz-OGn974

  20. Quite possibly the most under-priced bass in the entire history of Basschat, I had three offers to buy this bass with 30 mins of listing it, and the deal was completed within the first hour. Reckon I'll start adding 20% onto all my listings in future. 😂😂😂
  21. I've recently commisioned a Rickenbacker 4003. It's awesome and it says Rickenbacker on it I really don't care I have one of my U2 basses made from parts and the neck says Fender Jazz bass, in the old fashioned TV logo (but it has dots, so obviuosly wrong) There's not really a right answer unless you're trying to rip somebody off
  22. For sale is my Sonicake Super Master. Fully working, mint condition, complete with box. The Super Master is a Mini Clean Boost Pedal with a Buffer and +12dB gain. I bought this a simple boost pedal to boost harmonics and lead bass parts and it works really well. Based in Camberley and collection is welcome or can be packaged securely and posted.
  23. This is sooooo much overkill that I can't imagine when anyone would need that much power*. Of course, I want it! I have no use for it, nowere to keep it but my heart wants it badly! GLWTS *this is just my lack of imagnation. Of course, this would be very useful in many situations.
