  1. Past hour
  2. I’ve been to Ashby and I’ll believe him without pics
  3. Before you go off spending money on new IEM’s etc have you tried eq’ing the aux that is feeding your X-Vive? I used to experience the same harsh IEM sound until I spent a bit of time last night eq’ing my aux send. That solved the problem for me and I had the best IEM sound I’ve ever had.
  4. High quality Italian made DI box from Markbass. Price includes UK postage.
  5. Very high quality Hall reverb with that lovely infinite reverb effect. Boxed and complete with sticker, guide, unused stick on rubber feet. I’ve rested it and then put it away as it doesn’t have a battery option and I no longer use a powered pedalboard. Like new. Price includes UK postage.
  6. It all worked out well with a single 212, we were playing on a stage with a roof and open sides, I just cranked the bass a bit on the amp
  7. Post gig insomnia, the only kind of insomnia that I don't mind

  8. Walk right back - Everly Brothers
  9. It’s one of their Teambuilt (so German-made) annual limited models where they change things up a bit in terms of spec. It’s the bolt-on LX model and has a black korina body and Bartolini soapbars in it. Here’s a demo (playing at 2:09 onwards):
  10. I don't think we have enough information to answer definitively. How big is the garden? How loud do you need to be? Are there any wlalls around you.? The problems outside are ambient noise can be louder people further away and for the bassist the sound from behind the cab being lost. Since the sound behind is just the lower frequencies you lose bass. If there is a wall behind you lean the bass cab back against it and the bass sound will be enhanced. If you have two cabs I'd take both on a precautionary principle, if I had them available. There's only one way of finding out waht works and you can't do it if the cab is at home
  11. I feel seen by the artwork on this one 🤣 looks incredible!
  12. Hi Guys Since I got some decent pitch shifting presets on my HX Stomp the EH Pitchfork has become redundant. in good condition, has original box and power supply. Will post at buyers expense. I will take PayPal f & f or standard if the buyer pays the fees
  13. I don't think it was a daft thought, it just needs to have a little work done on it. You can feed a speaker level output into an active speaker but it needs the voltage reduced and some impedance matching. You can buy a DI box which will reduce the signal roughly to a thousandth of the speaker signal and sort all that out for you. In terms of power it would work like adding in an extra Rumble, you'd have the extra power coming from the amp in the active speaker instead of coming from a reduction of the impedance to 4ohms. You'd also have a bit more speaker area radiating sound so you'd get extra volume that way. Though the active might not be as loud as the Rumble depending upon what it is. Connecting the speaker output rather than a line out or FX out from a bass amp means all the tone controls on the Rumble will affect the sound from the active extension. It won't sound like the Rumble though as the combo's speakers are meant to be coloured and the PA speakers to be uncoloured. It might be something to try if you just want a bit more volume but get that matching DI box
  14. Hi Chris, Seems I don’t automatically get a notification when someone replies! I’ve PM’d you the number. Terry
  15. That sounds squiffy!
  16. Off eBay and even more reduced to just £90! Grab a bargain 😀
  17. Actually, PMT had recently started selling servants and apprentices but there weren't enough customers with the knighthood required to purchase them. Just one of the possible reasons for their untimely demise.
  18. Bit of Fun, last week, playing with the youngsters !
  19. Thanks - it does the job! I did it with basic hand tools so the screw holes aren’t countersunk correctly. The drill bit I bought for the job just chewed up the plastic I tried it on so I had to improvise and they aren’t as deep as I would’ve liked.
  20. Me too, my early USA Fender Stu Hamm signature "Urge" 32ins scale bass had pau ferro fret board, great finish, very closed grain, absolutely fine.
  21. This is an incredible phaser and there is probably a very, very small number in the UK and likely Europe!
  22. Thanks for your comments-yes a truly beautiful looking and sounding bass.
