  2. These were a big deal in the unplugged era of the ‘90s . Bargain ! Glwts
  3. I have the mk1 too, but I stuck a blend pot in straight away. I then disconnected the bridge pickup altogether.
  4. Where are you based? Someone mighty be able to take a look for you.
  5. These are ideal strings for a short scale danelectro — I put a set on my blueburst longhorn well over ten years ago and they still sound full and punchy.
  6. Great pedal, working perfectly with original box and manual. Price includes mainland UK postage. Best, Andy

  7. I'm thinking of getting one myself. I was just wondering should I be looking out for anything special when selecting strings? I love La Bella Deep Talkin bass Flatwound strings but happy to try something else if other strings are more suited. I've just contacted La Bella who have said their flats might not work. However, if I can supply the measurement from the distance from where the ball-end is located to the nut they will confirm.
  8. Assuming it was this case: https://www.gear4music.com/Woodwind-Brass-Strings/Westbury-Deluxe-Padded-3-4-Double-Bass-Gig-Bag-with-Wheels/1MBI A product should be of satisfactory quality and reasonably fit for purpose or, if you make an express purpose known to the seller before purchase, reasonably fit for that purpose (ss9-10, Consumer Rights Act 2015). S11(4) CRA2015 states: "Any information that is provided by the trader about the goods and is information mentioned in paragraph (a) of Schedule 1 or 2 to the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (SI 2013/3134) (main characteristics of goods) is to be treated as included as a term of the contract." Schedule 2 (relating to off-premises (i.e. internet) sales of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 specifies that information as being "the main characteristics of the goods, services or digital content, to the extent appropriate to the medium of communication and to the goods, services or digital content". So the description set out on the webpage arguably becomes a term of the contract between you and the seller. G4M stated that the case "offers comfortable protection for your three quarter size double bass... This model also comes with attached wheels, providing you with a more comfortable transport method for long distances. The generous 22mm padding protects your instrument from any bumps or knocks whilst on the road. ... the BC003 is suitable to transport your three quarter size double bass to live events, band practice and the studio." Accordingly, it was arguably a term of the contract that: the case offered 'comfortable protection' it could protect your bass during transportation of your bass for long distances; it had 'generous 22mm padding' to protect your bass; it was suitable to transport your bass to gigs, practices and the studio. If, as you suggest, there was inadequate padding G4M are in breach of the implied and express terms of the contract between you. The remedy for breach of contract is damages to put you in the position you would have been had they performed the contract as required. As such, you would be entitled to the claim the cost of any repair (since had the case been fit for purpose your bass would not have been damaged), plus arguably any incidental costs (such as hire of an alternative bass, transport costs etc). I'd be letter before claiming G4M for the cost of repair and then small claims court if they decline.

  10. Understood. From what I can see the S2012s would make for a very potent rig, and if the cabinet is built around the dimensions of a V4B that would sit on top, yeah that would look pretty nice as well.
  11. Driving down to Dorset tomorrow morning if anyone interested is en route…
  12. Could it be this? https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61555456151939 I've been meaning to go, but I really struggle to make the dates after work. Looks like a great regular event though.
  13. I've recently discovered Boards Of Canada. Surprising it's taken so long to find them, as the duo are relatively local to where I was brought up, and are about the same age. I love their themes of trippy nostalgia.
  14. That looks as though it has a lot going for it. It says it is contoured but the body looks pretty slabby to me in the pics. Good modding platform though and a compromise nut width of 40mm might please both the P and J bass communities.
  15. A short spray of Deoxit should fix that for you. Shouldn't cost too much for a tech to fix this for you.
  16. It looks nice, it's a Sandberg so it will be excellent quality... But something about it just doesn't do it for me. And it certainly doesn't do it at that sort of price point.
  17. Yes bud, they are. I just happened upon them last night as I was searching for some other bits. Kinda forgot I had them..
  18. Not sure if these have been posted on here yet but these are relatively new and have a PJ config. Visually not my thing but they might do it for some. https://www.gear4music.com/Guitar-and-Bass/Hartwood-Delta-Bass-Guitar-Sunburst/6PQE?origin=product-ads&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=22258054978&gbraid=0AAAAAD_kjLS6ifX4TqRvnxg_qAh17C6OC&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIm9ba5JPYjgMVvopQBh00CAoqEAQYBCABEgJM6fD_BwE
  19. Hi Gang! Hope everyones good. Putting my Ashdown rig on sale - this is from December 2024 so 6 months old basically and can prove it. Working perfectly and taken out to rehearsal just 3 times, but going digital with the band (Anagram + IEMs) so no use for this sadly. The head comes with cover, mint. Cabs with minimum scratches - enough to feel them with a nail but not cut thru the tolex - I can still remember the trip where this happen and facepalmed myself. Cabs are about 14kg each or so, can carry the whole rig two handed. Tweeters on OFF/MID/Hi on both cabs. Would prefer selling as a rig. If separate: RM 500 EVO III head £400 w/ cover ABM 2x10 EVO IV Pro Line (not the compact) £400 ABM 1x15 EVO IV Pro Line £350 Take the whole rig for £1k and I'll add the foodswitch and cables too. NOTE: Decoloration is only because of having wiped them with a wet cloth to clean the scratches for more accurate picture - they are black all over and even of course.

This is based on Leo Gibson's video review of the pedal and the Sonicake multi-fx that does NAM loading, citing latency and null-testing. The latency by itself is ok, but at the high end for most modelers, which try to stay around 2 msec. Larger point being that if you were to use modeling for a pro-level endeavor, you'd likely use something else with a known better pedigree. It is what it is. I say that if it works for you, it works for you...the rest be damned.
  21. I've come back to the fuzzmo after a fair few years, seriously excellent fuzz that does heaps. Think you might regret selling it mate. Glwts
  22. No issues. Any questions, please let me know. Shipping available.
