  1. It's been far too long since I did a bass cover... Finally glad to use my '95 Warwick Thumb NT 5 for the first time on this one!
  2. NBD! Warwick Thumb NT 5 from 1995 with wenge neck & 18V 3-band MEC preamp.
  3. New Cannibal Corpse album is out! Here's my Murderous Rampage bass cover from Violence Unimagined! Alex Webster is one of my Top3 favourite bassplayers, and Cannibal Corpse has been a band I've been listening to for a very long time (since 1998). Their last LP is simply great! This is the opening song of this album. Alex shows he's still one of the best death metal musicians out there... Fast, aggresive riffs - this piece of music simply roars! Great song to play.
  4. Yes, it's sold. I may be selling Thumb NT in the near future though!
  5. Otep - Ghostflowers bass cover, from the 2007 The Ascension album. Very complex bass line written by pretty unknown & even more underestimated Jason "eViL J" McGuire. His aggresive playing style & suberb unique sound is the foundation of my favourite song from this album. The song itself is quite demanding and challenging, but it was really fun to play.
  6. Mudvayne - Happy? bass cover, from the 2005 Lost and Found album. They are back! I'm so hyped about Mudvayne reunion, hope they will record a new album really soon. In the meantime, hope you all feel the same way that I do right now... Are you feeling Happy?! This is quite simple but powerful song! Very nice melodic verse riffs and coll tapping on chorus - I really enjoyed learning this bassline by Ryknow. Feel free to share if you liked this bass playthrough!
  7. Mudvayne - Determined (bass cover) Simple but powerful song! Not much work here to do, but I really enjoyed learning this bassline by Ryknow.
  8. Thank you very much!👽 My right hand position is very comfy for me, no muscle tension whatsoever;] I guess it's a technique thing - I attack the strings from a different angle than you, more aggresively (though I'm not heavy handed), to get my strings to hit the frets. Your video is very nice! Keep up the good work👽
  9. Muse - Hysteria bass cover, from the 2003 Absolution album. Hysteria bassline is a kind of a must-play thing by every self-respecting bass player... Wonderful work by Chris Wolstenholme! Quite demanding, but very superb piece of music to play on bass. And man, that sound...! Feel free to share if you liked this bass playthrough!
  10. Mudvayne - World So Cold bass cover, from the 2002 The End of All Things to Come album. This is kinda Mudvayne ballad... I really enjoyed playing this one;] Ryan Martinie did a great job here, combining softer & more aggresive riffs into this tremendous bassline! Definitely my favourite bass track to play from this album. Feel free to share if you liked this bass playthrough!
  11. Mudvayne - Not Falling bass cover, from the 2002 The End of All Things to Come album. Very fast, aggresive, powerfull & energetic song... It realy is a true headbanger! Ryknow did a great job here, using all his brbr deng in this song. And man, that "clean parts" on bass are terrific!
  12. Machine Head - Imperium bass cover, from the 2003 Through the Ashes of Empires album. Fast, aggressive, energetic - these words are the best descrption of one of the most well known Machine Head song. Adam Duce did a good job here, laying the foundation for riff song structure & overall sound - arranged to brbr deng version a'la Ryan Martinie.
  13. Hi. Weight is about 4,8 kg. String spacing is normal, it isn't a broadneck bass (they have humbuckers instead of single coil pickups).
  14. Primus - The Antipop bass cover, from the 1999 The Antipop album. This one was quite easy, but a real fun to play song! Cool bass line by Les Claypool, with his signature slap style - arranged to brbr deng version a'la Ryan Martinie. Feel free to share if you liked this bass playthrough!
  15. Pricedrop! Now availible for £1150/€1300 ;]
