How was the gig? -
That's awesome, I'm glad you liked it and it helped. Also, don't let anyone tell you that you get less mwah with flats, that recording was done using Rotosound Jazz flats

There were tarps at Springsteen, but that’s still an awful lot of traffic. That said, grass is very resilient and it was no doubt in tip top condition for whatever the next big footie game was.

Pedal bought from Ashdown as I love their signature range - and It's Guy Pratt - who doesn't like guy Pratt ?? But apart from testing it it has sat unused in it's box. So lets find it a great home. Comes with all the "case candy" including the unused rubber feet. Note that it requires a good quality 18v power supply.

No. Only one track so far a couple of years ago but the band has just got back together after a couple of years of "life" and we want to get back in the studio again to record some of our originals. Not really bothered about making money to be fair but it would be nice to at least cover costs.. I think CDBaby and Distrokid are pretty much the same animal and it's always an option but I'd rather do something more independently for the time being.

I really rate CDBaby to easily & cheaply get music out onto multiple streaming sites, the website's great. I use this for promotion, not for an income stream - I'm not a commercial artist. Not tried Distrokid but I imagine these services are all pretty similar, and the more you pay the less you have to do yourself. Do you put a lot of music out?

It’s a lovely gig Dave. We don’t do it much in summer as it’s too busy, but once the season is over we generally do one or two gigs a month there. The views both behind us and in front are fantastic, as the venue is on a pier sticking out in the harbour. Only thing to sometimes spoil it is when you come out to find your car covered in seagull sh*t!

I’m exactly the same. Even though I know IEM’s are undoubtedly a good route to take, I know they’re just not for me I’m afraid. Fortunately doing what I do now, it’s not a problem - with the acoustic duo I mostly use a Rumble 100 combo, and anything else with electric just the 500 version. Loud gigs are definitely now a thing of the past for me, which I’m very happy about as I still have a reasonable quality of hearing left!
-
Did that on the FI v3 a while ago. It’s a bit slower than the proper tempo. Tracking on the v4 is much better than what is heard here: https://m.soundcloud.com/peter-kenney-750235819/qm-aint-noboday-2a

Unfortunately, I no longer have it. It was resold on here, after I sold it when I stopped giging I loved it gigged it everywhere, dives, pubs, clubs, weddings, festivals (2 x Huge Scout Jamborees really) Fed it into a Trace AH350SMX, Trace 2x10, and Trace baby 15 it sounded brilliant. It was the quilted one. I much prefer yours's though -

Ironically it wasn’t the Schallers which failed on me. I have just replaced all the Schaller locks with the Dunlop locks as I feel they are a superior solution. Last week I just didn’t pop the strap part into the button properly, and it fell out during the first song 😆 I think Dunlops are a better design (despite my ineptitude) and should have listened to @skelf 11 years ago when I got my first ACG; better late than never I have seen the light and learnt how to use them properly 🤣
-
I didn't, it's a 2006 model sourced from Bass Direct a while ago. Sounds wonderful 🙂

Used for a few months …. spec below No more batteries to change, no more tangled cables to trip over. The FuelTank is the perfect power supply unit for guitarists who want to focus on their performance, not their gear. Delivering 1.500 mA of power through ten DC plugs, FuelTank powers all your pedals, keeping you running on full power night after night. As you may have guessed, a non-isolated power supply does not have insulation to isolate the circuit. Both the input and output share a common ground, so the current can flow between them through a single circuit. What's in the Box? MAINS input power plug, 3-pin standard plug One 5-connector link cable/daisy chain for the DC outputs Eight black extension cables for the DC outputs, length 25 cm Ten black extension cables for the DC outputs, length 50 cm Two red extension cables for the 12-volt AC output, 25 cm Who are T Rex?
