  3. Surely that should have been a Roy Orbison tribute? 🤓 Btw I have never heard of Ms Kenworthy!
  4. I've bought from G4M before with no problems. This is not at all impressive.
  5. I've been away from here for a long time. I've not checked out any members here for a long time.
  6. I've been absent from here for quite a few years. This is my first post in coming back. I've not checked any of these people out. I do, however, know Gary Mac. He's really good and a nice guy too. He lives in Hoddesdon. If you struggle to get hold of him, contact me. I'll help out, if you're still in need of help.
  7. I've got my beady eye on something, so this lovely condition 2023 Aubergine Fender American Performer Mustang is first for the chopping block. It's been with me for a few months and is set up beautifully with 40-95 Elixirs (of course!) Plays like a dream and is in excellent condition with no scratches or dings that I can see. It has only been used for one set on one gig in our live tribute show, so it's not earning its keep and therefore has to go. Comes complete with bill of sale from original owner and the original Fender Deluxe Gig Bag & case candy. I would record you a demo, but I'll let 'Nick Campbell Destroys' do the honours below - he does a lot better job than me! For sale at £825. (New price is £1400 these days!) Interesting trade options considered. Buyer to collect, or can meet half way at a distance of up to 100 miles.

  8. Up for sale is this Behringer Monopoly. A great little clone of the Korg original. Four Oscillators can be played in unison for massive basses/leads etc or played in a polyphonic mode for chords. Lots of sync/ mod options too. This one is pretty much mint and comes with the box. Only used for a short recording project and never gigged or even rehearsed with.
  9. Large headstock (but surprisingly little dive), single Bartolini, standard Zon electrics…
  10. Air-bass, 1958. Mustang bass, 2025.
  11. I love it, and it does what it says on the tin, but the Geddy preamps are much more up my street. I've literally never taken it from the house so it's as new. Any equations, by all means ask.

  14. Well, I do still have this: But I’ll do you one better with this on the same bass: Never quite got round to removing it…
  15. Or a bit more obscure, Prince Charles and the City Beat Band.
  16. I went for the Hercules Travelite, also for fitting-in-gigbag reasons. It's great, thanks for the recommendation!
  17. I was joking … I know it’s there
  18. Nobody? Nice virtually-new Elf with a couple of hours' use? Still here and yours by post for some agreeable amount of money?
  19. Thank you - I can't find a Bossa bass anywhere in the UK. I have another Bossa guitar that was Brian Monroney's (Tom Jones etc) and it's my #1 💛
  20. Our sax player tried using her flute once. It didn't really work musically and all me and the lead guitarist could do while she was playing was stand on one leg with t'other foot on our knee-cap Ian Anderson style. This was, of course, during rehearsal
