    I always play sitting down (OMs only) so weight isn’t a major issue. It’s not light but I’m sure I’d be okay for a standup gig with it. I like the tight spacing and prefer its passive sounds to active. Since it has separated tone controls I have two sounds on tap just by switching between active and passive. Thats all I need

    I’ve got a Sire V7 5. At 10.2 lb it’s on the limit for me but otherwise it’s absolutely first class in all respects. Just bought a Z3 and I’m blown away by it. Stunning

    That's interesting, I never thought of trying and I need to sort the pop filter which has turned into dust. Fortunately a Basschatter 3D printed me a new sleeve after seeing the post above and once I fix the pop filter the mic will be fully restored. BassChat is truly a wonderful place to be. Thanks for the tip @Dan Dare I'll see if I can get a pop filter, it'll save me having to improvise. I still think your avatar should be a space ship

Think I plugged this in 10 years ago and couldn't be bothered with the learning curve. The rubber finish on the receiver is starting to go tacky, no idea what to ask for this, £30?     Nah- I think price point will be ok - they have sold plenty of the other bass rigs - if you can afford it it won’t be a problem, and it’s cheaper than an amp and cab.
