I’m having a big clear out of basses, strings and pedals. Pretty much anything that I am no longer going to be using so that I can reduce my collection to just 1 main bass, a back up and the pedals that I need. I bought this immediately prior to taking a year out from playing so it's never seen a gig since I bought it and still has whatever flatwounds were on it when I bought it. I had one of these bass in the early 90s and fancied another. Plus it was a cheap way to remind myself that I'm not very good on fretless and to stop eyeing up other fretless basses on the marketplace 😂 It has marks here and there consistent with a 34 year old bass and the volume and tone controls are a bit scratchy but I never noticed any noise when playing, only if you let a note ring out and then turn those controls. I will be supplying a gig bag with this as it didn't come with one. Looking at all of the other basses I'm listing it looks like I must have bought a job lot of Thomann gig bags as they appear next to each bass 🤔😁 I think that this is the lightest bass I have coming up for sale at a positively featherweight 7.8lbs. Collection preferred but I am happy for you to arrange a courier as I have plenty of packaging materials to ensure that this is well packed.

Bought brand new earlier this year I think 🤔 this is a 2023 Fender Player Precision, going by the serial number, in Seafoam Green with Pau Ferro fretboard. I fancied a set of Bartolinis after watching a video with Freddie Washington so went the whole hog and paired them with a Six String Supplies prewired solderless harness. I wanted to have the option to return the bass to stock if needs be so I removed the original scratchplate with the pots still intact, even going as far as to remove the bridge to allow me to thread the earth wire through without having to desolder it. This is a replacement scratchplate that I bought for it. I don’t actually think it has left the house since I bought it and as such is in mint condition. Although it’s not one I’ve gigged, I am going to miss it. It’s such a stunning looking bass. Some of the pictures show it with Hipshot Ultralites but I have since removed them for another bass. I have refitted the original tuners, still with the original cellophane covers and hangtags fitted The weight of this lovely bass is 8.2lbs. I have a couple of options depending on what the buyer wants: For the bass as you see it, along with the original pickups, scratchplate and a brand new gig bag I would like £600. £500 for the bass returned to stock, still including the brand new gig bag. Collection preferred but I am happy for you to arrange a courier as I have plenty of packaging materials to ensure that this is well packed.

I have always loved single coil P basses but I am never going to have the opportunity to play this live so I may as well let it go to a good home. Used for 1 gig in 2023, it's pretty much in mint condition, right down to the fact that the plastic is still on the scratchplate. It also comes fitted with a set of Ernie Ball 2810 flats that I had already bought for a 5 string. This is one of these basses that I said I would never sell but I'm just not using it. I used Musicman basses for years but in the past 5 or 6 I've seem to have completely switched over to jazz basses. This is quite an unusual combination of HH pickups, matching headstock, plus it seems to have come with a case for a Stingray instead of a Sterling one 🤔 I always loved Stingrays but could never get the sound that I had heard on all of those records. The answer to this was to buy the slightly more aggressive Sterling with ceramic pickups. This is a November 2016 model and I've probably owned it for about the past 6 or 7 years. Recently it developed a fault where it would suddenly go quiet. No crackles or pops or anything, just silence. It pointed to either the jack socket or battery box, more likely the battery box. Despite using the recommended Duracell batteries, I don't think that it was holding the battery tight enough to make the connection. The solution was to go to Strings & Things and order a replacement jack and battery box. During my search for the part number for the jack, I came across numerous reports about how it wasn't ideal and could fail due to the design. I found a wiring diagram that had been issued by Musicman showing how to wire up a standard stereo jack instead of the enclosed type that Musicman use. The short version is that I have replaced the battery box with the correct, EBMM part but I have used a stereo jack instead of the Musicman one ( I will include the musicman one that I bought and is still in it's package if you wish to change it back ) It's in excellent condition, bar some surface buckle rash on the back that I think should be able to polish out as I can't feel it when I run my hands over it. There is a bit of surface tarnishing on the pickup poles that is pretty standard for Musicman basses. Despite the smaller body and narrower neck, the bass comes in at a surprising 10lbs. I've used this on a fair few weddings and functions and hadn't realised that this was how heavy it was as I always use a neoprene strap of some description. I wasn't sure how to price this but given that I don't think the Sterling is made anymore, the matching headstock and HH pickup configuration, I would like £1600 for this. I am, as always, open to offers. I would prefer collection but am happy for you to arrange your own courier.
