  2. I have one from this series, they’re incredible, worth every penny, I wish I could afford one with flats & one with rounds, but I can’t, so GLWYS!
  3. Yeah, wasn't sure which category to list in as it's not actually an effect. Not sure if I can move it now.
  4. Great little cab SIM pedal with XLR out and thru port. Quick and easy to load and recall IRs. Has velcro on the bottom. Price includes UK postage. https://shop.hotoneaudio.com/products/omni-ir?srsltid=AfmBOopi3ArFUFryqxYVEzkyrXBmaNhRmgzbJ5g42nlMt8_bBx44r1P1
  5. Great keyboard, recently replaced the pitch wheel as it had started to drift. Perfect now though. All in great working condition. Collection from High Wycombe or meet up preferred, but I can look in to postage if needed.

  6. I just had some ICs sent over from the US by a guy from Talkbass. This is what he did about shipping: " I use a shipping broker called Pirate Ship (pirateship.com). For international orders I send the package to them, and they re-ship it to you. Saves lots of money. Anyway, in a few days the package will reach Los Angeles and will be trans-shipped to you."

  8. Just looking again there is definitely a curve in the neck. Maybe just clamped for a while would straighten it up
  9. The truss rod works fine, and at the moment is backed right off, maybe half turn on. I have adjusted the action to about 2.5mm and its playing well with just a hint of buzz but that's the sound you want from a stingray, nice and raspy. There does look to be about .5mm of belly in the neck when I put a straight edge on it. Maybe a fret levelling would be enough.
  10. Nice to see the old brand doing well and making basses again.
  11. Maybe the Behringer Acoustic ADI21 at £20ish could be a way to go? https://www.gear4music.com/Guitar-and-Bass/Behringer-ADI21-V-Tone-Acoustic-Preamp/6LW Bit of tone shaping, plus blend, and still a DI when off?... just as long as you have a bit of monitor provided, or the std out into an FX return?
  12. Hi, does it just need a truss rod tweak or is there something more inherent amiss?
  13. £435 is less than I paid for mine this year and a good deal. I've used mine loads (even at rehearsals) and it has been flawless.
  14. Thanks Rob, might well take you up on that. Clapham, or some grotty services somewhere - no contest, innit?
  15. so here's a heads up if you want to go wireless Thomann are doing the MIpro 58 set for £435.00 I paid £579 for mine from cybermarket https://www.thomann.co.uk/mipro_mi_58rt_58_ghz.htm this is a great system on 5.8 gig, and so far, zero drop out
  16. @neepheid You are welcome to break the journey up at Chez Clapham whether I go to this bash or not, on either or both journey legs. Rob
  17. Yes, because I'm quite, quite mad. But in the good way. When you live in the sticks, you gotta go where the fun is - you'll die waiting for the fun to come to you...
  18. Are you really coming from Aberdeen to the SW bash ? That’s an epic journey
  19. I tried one of these when demoing a bass at my local music shop (Promenade) and I was amazed by the sound quality and power there was given that it is being marketed as an ‘entry level’ product. I reckon this would be perfect for most pub situations and more since it has a DI out. GLWTS.
  20. I have one as a 5 and it got huge plaudits on Wednesday night
  21. Bought a VT bass Di pedal from Liviu . Very quick to reply to me and posted quickly. Recommend, great to deal with Thanks James
  22. I will and the 3d printed six string. Work has become all consuming so I've done square root of sod-all on a number of printing projects that I want to see through. I might see if I can use October to get some momentum. Rob
  23. One of my boys has this on his Tablet and it's very good. I think he paid a tenner for it, although he doesn't use it much now because he got Cubase and also Cubasis for when he is up and about. Also, he can exchange projects between Cubasis and Cubase. If you want Midi recording, both Cubasis and Audio Evolution are capable of this. I'm not sure the Fender App does Midi recording, but then again it is free and the other two are not. Maybe they plan to introduce it in a future update.

  25. The Link IO looks similar to the iRig, which is only around £30 I think? I had the iRig a few years ago, it did a good job. I've also seen something from TC Helicon called GO Guitar, which is the same idea, but it's £18 on Amazon. You probably won't need any of them, as the Behringer interface should do the job, but if you end up wanting to try that option there are cheaper units than the Fender, which is nice.
