  1. Past hour
  2. It's a good sound overall, I can hear the noises you mean but it's only on the first example that I might consider trying another take if it was for a recording. It sounds like it's in the way you release stopped notes with the left hand, I suspect you'll instinctively adjust your left and right hands to minimise it as you get more familiar with the new setup.
  3. Hi Peter, could I have the Janek Gwizdala one please
  4. For sale is my Schecter P4 Exotic bass. I'm giving up bass guitar. Just don't get the time to play and I need the space. It's a fantastic bass guitar. It has the EMG metalworks pickups. Great feeling neck and fast fretboard. Currently fitted with cobalt flats. Been well looked after. Versatile tone and sounds great. Would prefer collection, but I am willing to travel within reason to meet at agreed location.
  5. This is a top quality bass, both in build quality and tone, it sounds phenomenal and exactly as a P bass should. Excellent condition apart from a tiny ding at the back of the strap button at the bottom of the bass and can barely be seen even up close. I have upgraded the bass with the following - Norstrand NP4a pickups /CTS pots /Switchcraft jack /WD Black 3 ply scratch plate /tug bar. Set up by the man himself...Mr Jon Shuker and is extremely easy to play all up the fretboard. Ernie Ball Super Slinky 45/60/80/100 strings fitted. Sorry I don't have the original parts as I really didn't intend selling this bass ever. Only selling as I've had to buy a new central heating boiler which cost a fortune. Comes with the original fender gig bag in top condition as it hasn't been used for gigging. Absolutely any trial welcome. Sorry no trades thanks. I really don't want to courier this bass due to no packaging/bad experience, so pick up preferred but would drive a reasonable distance to meet up with petrol cost. I would consider 2 instalment payments. I will also include my hardly used Tascam bass trainer with original power supply.

  6. Yes it is, Peerless made the Epiphone for years. However I think the tweaks they have made since make it superior.
  7. "Box off! Box off! Box off!"
  8. I've got custom box making down to a fine art, I challenge your boutique to a duel.
  9. love falkirk big up the scots
  10. Mine just arrived. It’s brilliant. Someone at Epiphone was inspired by the Takamine TB10.
  11. Some more pics
  12. Yeah that’s the video that convinced me to buy it.
  13. Maybe, it’s currently fighting for it’s life against the Anagram
  14. as you may know on here im really quite the sansamp fan i love sansamp its my favourite and this sansamp is a brilliant bloody piece of metal love SANSAMP thanks for reading
  15. Width-wise the neck is very much in skinny 70s Strat territory.
  16. @pantherairsoft afraid not, it’s very much a keeper. I highly recommend it, bit of a learning curve but very capable fuzz/synth. It’s in a couple of my videos on YouTube, mainly just 1 squelchy fuzz I use a fair bit, but it’s killer with an Octaver. I think you’d really enjoy it.
  17. I wouldn't mind betting that either one or both of the guitarists have WAY too much bass on their eq. Sure, it sounds nice and heavy in isolation but totally inappropriate in a band situation and sadly very common! Start with just drums. Then add bass; can you get loud enough to comfortably match the drum volume? If so, your equipment is fine. The guitarists should then turn up enough to form that cohesive blend where you all sound like 'a band' rather than several people playing their instruments in the same room if you get my meaning...
  18. well it looks like the original bass vi has a thinner nut than a strat so presumably on that score alone you are not comfortable with the bass vi.
  19. Fifteen page booklet with bass lines in various tempos and genres eg Straight Time patterns, Latin Rock, Reggay (sic) patterns, Fills, 5/4 and 6/4 studies...
  20. Like it says on the box... Five DVD's taking you through basslines for 20 Worship Bass songs Cost includes postage
  21. I was up in Morecambe last week to give this a try. Sounded excellent! It's got some proper mojo. I had been concerned about the damage on the back of the neck but you cant feel it at all, or at least I couldn't. I opted to go with a 74 I found at a dealer. GLWTS mate, somebody needs to give this a good home!
  22. The worst thing about eBay is having to find a suitable box and packaging up stuff. Almost every time I sell something it'll be shortly after clearing out loads of empty boxes in the garage that I think I'll never need! Invariably I end up hacking up a box that's too big making me feel like I'm running a custom cardboard box atelier boutique from my garage. Maybe one day they'll do what Amazon do for returns - take the item to a shop, print the return sticker with a QR code and they do the rest.
  23. Looking to get a beater Pbass and torn between these three. Anyone owned both the player and classic vibe, what are your experiences? 1 and 2 are almost the same price and have no mods, and because it's second hand, I like that it has more mileage and most prolly been setup. Or get the latest player II coz I'm a sucker for maple and blue combination. 1. Squier Precision Fiesta Red Classic Vibe 60s - 2nd hand 2. Fender Player in Tidepool - 2nd hand 3. Fender Player II in Aquatone - bnew
