  1. Past hour
  2. Thanks for that Phil, it looks really useful. I've not had any problems with BandMule crashing, ether on my current Pixel 6a or the Redmi Note 9 that preceded it.
  3. If skinny neckness is your thing:
  4. Don't worry. Speakers will happily tolerate short bursts of as much as twice their rated power. Add to that the fact that an amplifier rarely if ever delivers its full rated power and you'll be fine. It will be obvious from the sound if you are pushing it too hard. Just back off the volume in the unlikely event that happens.
  5. Lovely Conklin you've scored there - you'll be able to iron your shirts on the fingerboard in between string changes!
  6. Don't Stop Me Now - Queen
  7. Just watching it now. Love the old R&B stabs in the arrangements. Shame they’re relying so much on backing tracks though….
  8. Start Me Up - Stones
  9. WANT!! ...someone please buy my Spector in basses for sale
  10. Go! - Public Service Broadcasting
  11. Old has been funkster here. What I find odd about it all is how uncool everybody is. It seems like everyones going .."me me me". Even the bands have to call out to the fans the obligatory "Glastonbury"!! every other song. Anyway currently watching Free at the IOW circa 1970, crowd sat on the ground in quiet contemplation....Lovely.

  13. I was just looking at another thread showing a bass stack that included cabs I do not like (clue - coloured sound and look). I suddenly realised that since getting an LFSys, I have had three amps. Before that I was changing cabs more than Rab C Nesbitt changed his string vest.
  14. Scale length of the GTBD-7 is indeed 34 inches @velvetkevorkian, not 35 inches @binky_bass. 😉
  15. Thats Antony and the Johnsons,New York Band-She/He was born in Sussex(Chichester no less!) made a ton of music,ANOHNi is 44 yrs and tolerance in music can be a good thang.......🚦I too saw some of the set,and at least Gaza and Climate Change made a show....
  16. Such a bargain for an instrument of this quality. I love my BBP35. Good luck with the sale.
  17. If I told you how much I sold my 76 for in 2000 (With a trace elliot 7215SM combo) you’d cry. Wish I could affford this - but life’s got a bit iffy (already disabled out of the workforce and Wifey has just been diagnosed with ME and will be joining me). I loved my 76.. it was fantastic. Free bump and GLWTS
  18. Apologies, I know this has likely been done to death but couldn't find a specific answer via search. Basically my 2x12 Zilla cab is 4ohms and 600w. Just picked up a v1 Darkglass MT500, and stupidly only now realised that whilst it's 500w RMS at 4ohms, it's actually 750w peak. For those better versed with this stuff than I (most people here I'd assume) am I going to need to get a different cab or will the Zilla likely be fine as long as I'm not running the volume super high. Or is the peak of 750w always going to need to be accommodated by the speaker, regardless of volume? Greatful for any advice.
  19. Yep. So far I have enjoyed Osees, Loyle Carner, badbadnotgood and am looking forward to watching burning spear and vieux farka toure.
  20. 3rd Eye Stage - Sunday 14:55
  21. I believe I have a decent understanding of the principles involved but the first time I used my LFSys cab in anger, I was asked to turn up for the first ever.
  22. Yeah I can only assume they're hoping people are nostalgic for the original high end Cirrus line?
  23. It’s kind of like those folks who write in to complain about TV programs or shows “after two hours of suffering through this degenerate filth I was utterly disgusted to find there will be another episode, I can’t believe I will have to endure this again” I would recommend not bothering with Glastonbury if it bothers people so much, but with the sheer variety if you really can’t find something you like I am a little lost for words.
  24. First official outing for the Rebbels as a four piece tonight. We have made big changes, the lead guitarist and I have decided to swap sides. Of course I mean that I will be on the drummer’s left rather than the right. Ironic that as we are playing Christchurch Conservative Club. I am really looking forward to it but will also probably be a bit more nervous than usual. Although we have not rehearsed for 2 months, I did have a get together with the Lead Guitarist on Wednesday to run through a few things. I will try to get some pics to put on the “Howxwss your gig last night” thread.
