  1. Past hour
  2. Should be able to offer courier delivery once I source packaging materials
  3. Sure! - 34" scale - 19mm spacing at the bridge - No idea of the weight at the moment, so I'll have to weigh it when I get home, but for now I can say that the bass feels very well balanced on a strap. 😉 Kind regards, Don
  4. 2nd that! For me it was the pinnacle. I've got loads of other more "conventional" basses one way or another but when the time comes, my L2 will be the last to go. That said, I liked this when we first saw it a couple of years ago but not a particular fan of fanned frets or indeed, monorail bridges.
  5. Yea previous owner cut it out to fit a pull bar . still prefer the look minus scratchplate. this bass suffered from serious neck dive due the long scale, i made an adaptor as i did with my spirit headless. its made from a pinch spanner, completely cures the neck dive and can be removed if needed.
  6. Hi Chris, Seems I don’t automatically get a notification when someone replies! I’ve PM’d you the number. Terry

  8. They don't do a bad job of it; I could cope with the visuals but ventilation could be an issue
  9. Ah ok, thanks. I can see the point of that but personally, full parameter editing would be much more useful. Especially if patch organisation via the pedal is going to be a thing (since I would never use 99 patches for unique voices, I'd just arrange the banks to suit particular sets)
  10. This was bought for a project that suddenly found itself without an endpoint, so I'm clearing out. It was fitted to a bass and then a few weeks later removed. No marks, fully working (obv). Comes with all the gubbins. Per EMG: 'The HB was developed for Steinberger Sound for their infamous headless bass. It is a ceramic P-Style bass pickup in a guitar humbucking housing. The ceramic magnet adds presence, punch, and loads of output. It is recommended for bass guitars with a string width of less than 2 inches.' Here's the full data link: https://www.emgpickups.com/hb.html IIRC it was around £90, so how about £55 pick up (har har)/£60 posted in the UK?

  12. Lekato Transmitter/Receiver running 5.8Ghz, so well out of the problematic 2.4Ghz range. Fully working, you can run this one way from a mic to the desk (it's XLR connectors) or the other way round from the desk to a headphone amp like the Behringer P2. I've lost the dual USB charging lead, but they'll come with a single one, and they're ubiquitous these days (except in my house, apparently). Here's Lekato's blather, which focuses on the mic -> desk usage, but as I say they work great the other way round, too. https://lekatodeal.com/en-uk/products/wireless-5-8ghz-microphone-system-plug-on-xlr-transmitter-receiver £80-ish new now, so how about £55 pick up/£60 posted?
  13. It's a beast of an amp, I love mine. GLWTS!
  14. Busy weekend coming up....! A friend's band at the Face Bar, Reading on Friday night, then Marc Martel (amazing American 'Freddie Mercury' soundalike) with his Queen tribute at Shepherds Bush Empire on Saturday night, then my Wife's wind quartet on Sunday afternoon in Guildford and finally(!!) the amazing nu-Yacht Rock kings 'Young Gun Silver Fox' on Sunday night up at Koko in Camden!
  15. That’d be great, thanks. And hope to see you this month too, pick an inspiring picture for you! 😊
  16. it's actually not an eBay tale of woe at all, they've done rather well, more like a DHL take of woe?
  17. Yes...but imagine the disappointment when you buy a bass and it never arrived.Correct..with the old system I would have been stuffed.
  18. A few months before my 50th birthday I joined two bands. A covers band which included a good friend of mine on guitar and an originals band started up by the singer from a band I had been involved with very briefly the previous year. Two years later I had to quit the covers band because the originals band was doing more and better-paid gigs, not to mention that it was a lot more fun! I haven't gone back to playing covers since then and TBH I can't see myself doing covers in the future.
  19. No....it just didn't arrive. The parcel was within the size and weight limits.Tracking showed it scanned in at my home and then marked not arrived. Also updated over last couple of days but it's marked as lost and eBay paid out to the buyer and myself.
  20. I have a foot in both camps. I have an amp on stage which is largely redundant as the PA is supplied from my rather excellent Jad Freer Capo preamp and we’re all using in-ears. The amp is really only helping the PA out, but at a recent gig, my amp died and with this setup no one noticed. The plan for next year is to upgrade the PA and ditch the backline altogether.
  21. and on that note. This has to be the maddest version of that particular classic
  22. Tuner.pdf Instructions I've got the Joyo and Guitar Man Copies / Variants. Bomb Proof and a handy 9v Out, also works from the battery on mine... useful to power a batt-less mini pedal.
  23. Absolutely, lost, claimed and refunded all in a single week? That's eBay's systems working bloody well if you ask me 👍
  24. I know it is stressful but if you are saying that ebay have refunded you and the buyer is recompensed then I'd say that is far from an ebay 'woe'! If you'd sold it privately and shipped it yourself, you might be having a far greater set of woes to be getting an insurance pay out.
