Sadly the silly money prices on eBay are coming down. However people are paying double and a bit more for the pedal. Just checked and one auction is at £132 for a pedal. If anybody wants mine for £120 just le me know. There's supply coming through as I have one, so not sure why people are that desperate for it.

Sorry, I meant 'sleep on', I will correct my post.

I have to wonder whether there was actually something wrong with the Elf that I had and moved on. Nice tone, but it couldn't produce anywhere near enough volume to be useful through a pair of cabs which are more than capable with amps of only slightly higher quoted power. I think in the OP situation, if the Elf proved to be lacking I'd be tempted to try the Transit B preamp pedal into a power amp. I like the Crown XLS xx02 series, myself.

It's odd, these festivals. I'd never go to Glastonbury; to me it's a four day hellish version of Later... Likewise Download. Aah, I remember the old days, drive up, backstage parking, watching Motley Crue and Aerosmith from the side of the stage, proper bogs home and asleep in my own bed about 2.00am the next day. Now? Four days of bands with vocalists just clearing their throats. Nope. When all this was fields, the events that got my attention were just 12 hours. It's difficult to fully quantify but take the old Monsters of Rock things at Donington. 70,000 people, one stage and (usually) seven or eight great bands. Now it's all multiple stages, dozens of bands no one has heard of etc. The day long Donington has evolved, but the 1980s type event would now be supplanted as part of a tour itinerary (if this makes sense). It would be like Green Day just playing Wembley Stadium with a decent undercard, then this moving to the Manchester City stadium.

We have the NW bass bash to blame - your L-1000 and GreeneKing's L-2500 convinced me to look for something L flavoured. Wants / needs, etc..!

I've been looking at Ebay where I got mine and that particular one isn't there any more. When I was trying to find mine I bought 3 before I got one that fitted perfectly. It's not like you can go to a shop and try a few out. But I have found you one that might do the job although the item ships from China. I measured my Kingman sound hole diameter at 97mm (please check yours to comfirm this) and this Ebay ad has some, one at 96mm and one at 98mm. I would say go for the 98mm for a tight fit. Just be aware that sometimes their stated mesurements aren't always that accurate, so you might end up trying a 100mm plug, it's a case of trial and error to see what fits the best. Feel free to search around for one that's in stock closer to home, this is just the first one I found that had them around the right size. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/146662999184?_skw=Silicone+Acoustic+Sound+Hole+Cover&itmmeta=01JZ5ADH4JEB47HJTJVX560JPY&hash=item2225cbc490%3Ag%3A3SIAAeSwp8JoVbV9&itmprp=enc%3AAQAKAAABAFkggFvd1GGDu0w3yXCmi1fC8enOVQK1nNa20HRGGuWXX%2FHGAmFz5cfu9c2okvYXWfzXHbHPWBbB2oK8ZMX6TxJLhHs9PjyWKD%2BBd9Y1v7Eno7SPHHQm5IYcmpqiRRADYiz9wTQyPVs4krx6qPhRppKP5Bb7kn7JGNmIXst76xvoe2AAZjNQXyJBCV6uMSE24HteWhSUyizSlGHmj1zuTd%2B9WFqmtwyBKGt9oxrT%2Fkz3P%2BqOXdHuAw0Tk16JPtXzrgDaITUp2Xahv1DvZXsIovWtpm5VMplSr%2B2ZsxYXJxK2M0Wkwa8icXuJZON0udAI3%2FPlhfI4Vti1G3osLy%2BLi7E%3D|tkp%3ABFBMtJK2qvll&var=445329099935 -
Here we have a fantastic Glockenlang preamp, comprising Volume, Treble and Bass controls. Pull passive tone circuit activated from Push/Pull vol control. This was removed by my tech from another bass I got in a trade. If you use a twin pickup bass you will just need to obtain a suitable balance pot. The details: GLOCKENKLANG 2-band onboard preamp Active/passive switchable (at the volume push/pull) Treble-pot with +/- 18 dB@18 KHz in active mode, acting as classical high cut in passive mode Bass-pot with +/- 14 dB@40 Hz. Input-impedance (without Balance): 1,5 MOhm Frequency range: 20 Hz -20 KHz Power requirement: 9 volts/1,3 mA Min. installation depth: 28 mm (1.1″) Due to the high performance electronics, in flat position of the eq you can hear no difference between active and passive mode! £75 inc postage. Paypal (you pay fees) or bank transfer both fine. Please see my extensive positive feedback thread for assurance of a simple, honest transaction.

I don't have any of them at the moment but I still remember the feel and reponse of my previous C4 in terms of how it reacts to my playing nuances, left and right hand technique.

Well going totally ott why not have wireless charging like my phone with a charging station built into your guitar stand.

Bargain! As previously said the tuner, compression (via Toneprint), aux in (add in a bluetooth dongle for a few quid) and mute function make this a seriously useful yet still tiny box of tricks. I should really sell mine as I have a different small amp which covers the same ground but tbh I just don't want to.
