  1. Past hour
  2. Bought a pedal from Alex. Very nice transaction in every way, speedy postage, great packing. Cheers Alex!
  3. Completely agree, I didnt intend my post to sound critical of him in the slightest. I found the lesson very useful and offered to pay for his time regardless but he wouldnt take my money
  4. Hi! I’m near Bridgwater. Would you take £250 collected today?
  5. I'm pretty sure he is Rachel Bolan from Skid Row
  6. Very interested in this. A bit more info and / or vids would be nice. Are you covering his solo material as well. So many options there. Dave
  7. Ach its months away. After my plaster came off i rode my sports bike to the physio at the local hospital and she gave me a rollocking for it but as i explained my leg was encased in motorbike boots with 5 straps up the side. It was stronger than the plaster i had on. She wasn't happy but i had no other way of getting there. I couldn't walk to my nearest bus stop to get a bus as it was difficult walking at that time plus the walk from the bus stop to the physio was even longer. Dave
  8. How very dare you !!!! 😂 White Hi-tec baseball boots was more my thing at that age so you weren't far off the mark. Dave
  9. Placed a wanted ad for an Anagram, had no hopes of getting one before the big uk restock occurs. Behold, a message from Gavin, sorted me right out rather than returning his. Legend! Rapid postage and a pleasure to deal with
  10. Bet you were straining at the bit to get up and do some pogoing at that gig. ? Few of us have struggled on with broken bits Daryl @Bluewine so no excuses. Dave
  11. You found a real rare fair teacher and the eye (ear) opener is more than worth the free "lesson".
  12. A slightly modified Kasleder Freaky Stone Boost & Fuzz My thoughts are, I’ll never put this on a board it can live on a 9v battery and I’ll just drop it at the front of my chain whenever I feel like it. This is probably one of my favourite pedals but it does heavily benefit from an amp sim/ir. I don’t think I’d run it live without least the Element
  13. This is an incredible phaser and there is probably a very, very small number in the UK and likely Europe!
  14. Link was "private" @colleya Dave
  15. Lovely time had by all showcasing the new project "A little more Gilmour' Dave Gilmour & Pink Floyd tribute act
  16. Back then, could have passed for white socks - no biggie
  17. For sure! Now these guys do "making it their own" brilliantly!
  18. I’m in agreement Dave, if I can I play the song exactly, if there’s no way of working it out - and if YouTube doesn’t have it - then at that point I’ll settle for what I think it is. But I won’t add in stuff that wasn’t there, for me being as near to the original is the all important factor.
  19. For those interested here is a comprehensive demo.
  20. I have one of these and it’s superb. If I thought I could get another in the house and maintain marital harmony I would!
  21. Happy to listen to offers, 8 want my cupboard space back.. lol
  22. As above. This is a 2019 model. Great condition. A few very small blemishes which I’ve tried to picture but are really hard to catch on camera and can’t really be seen unless intentionally looking. (2 on top horn, one near bridge and one or two very little ones near the control plate) Also a little bit of bucklerash as this has been gigged for a year or so but nothing major. No noticeable marks to my eyes on the headstock. Really nice bass. Hipshot tuners which I’m not sure whether or not are standard but they’re on there since I bought it… Recently (3 weeks ago) professionally set up with EB Medium Slinkies. with a slight fret dress, so it’s a really nice low action with no high spots or choking. Honestly, plays like butter, whatever that plays like! I’ve also had the pickup cavity and pick guard copper shielded at the same time so it no longer has that pesky Mustang Hum. Only selling because try as I might, I just can’t seem to make it work for me. The split coil pickup which the Mustang is famous for sounds awesome but I can’t make it fit in my main gig and find myself craving more ‘honk’ that comes from having a bridge pickup. Comes with a full size bass hard case which I’ve adapted to fit the short scale with some wood & foam. Works a treat. Also comes with Schaller S Locks. And, I think I’ve got an old set of Fender flatwounds cut to fit it which I’ll chuck in. The original strap pins are also in the case and I can knock £20 off if you don’t want the Schallers. I can also include the Fender strap for an additional £10. Looking for £650 £630 collected from TF5 where I have very nice coffee and a biscuit or 2 available, and a nice amp you can try through. Or, i think i have a box and can pack up if you wanted to organise a courier. And… I can potentially meet within about 30-40 mins of TF5 . Will consider trades/part trades for short scales especially a Fender Japan Junior Jazz Bass or Gibson Jr Les Paul Tribute, and potentially 5 strings. But, sale is preferred so happy to see what you’ve got. Thanks in advance. Alex
