  1. Past hour
  2. In fact, like Ped's first picture!
  3. What the Nano should have been. I would love this instead of the full sized one, I have no use for the two rows of switches, 4 easily accessible scenes per preset would do me absolutely fine.
  4. I owned the BP1 Compact but didn't like the tone as much as its big brother. The compact has a very different tone with a significant bump in the lower mids.
  5. Bought a Terrorbass from Sarah. Effortless transaction, Sarah packaged the amp very well which ensured safe delivery. Good comms throughout and a pleasure to deal with. Thanks Sarah.
  6. The reality of the criminal justice system at present, the madness being that by the time someone gets to court, if they do need jailing they have to release another prisoner early to get them a cell.
  7. Thanks both. More shelves is just prolonging the agony! There are a couple of local auction houses I shall look at now that I have thought of the solution below. I could butcher a bureau so that the screen sat at an angle facing slightly up from the base of the first drawer. I have seen desks with screens set like that. I could still close it all up and pretend that it is just an antique oak bureau. Maybe. But writing this stuff down helps me process things. It is just unfortunate for you lot that you have to read it.
  8. Small update to my board after keeping it the same for well over a year. Boss TU-3 tuner replaced with the Polytune 3 Mini Noir and that made space for a Spectracomp compressor that arrived today, thought I'd give that a wee shot.
  9. I checked my diary in which I noted the conversation. "Has been adjourned until February 2026". I suspect that the clerk misread the date - she like me, reasonably expected the case to be resolved 6 months after it first came before the court, rather than 18 months.
  10. Just to bump this to the top for others to see and add to! Any other releases we've missed?
  11. That is absolutely fair enough I wish you well with you search.
  12. Please be careful, I suspect if you do work it out, the universe will instantly disappear and be replaced by something more complex.
  13. Christmas out of the way, bank account seriously depleted, winter energy bills just arrived, tax man to settle up with by the 31st, but hey we all need to treat ourselves from time to time and sod the GAS issue. Winter's dreary and something to cheer us up wouldn't go amiss. However, the piggy bank isn't what you'd call overflowing - you can just about rustle up 500 quid or so. The brief is 5 string, a minimum 18mm spacing, new or used. What would you go for ?
  14. Is this for sale? Sent you a DM.
  15. I've always been a CT fan. They're hometown boys. I was going to their shows when they were still playing bars. Stood right next to Rick Neilson at a Jeff Beck show at Turner Hall. Daryl
  16. Hi @sambecker1, have you played the neck? I had an old '70s Precision with a neck with probably way more issues than you've described on yours and it still played fine as long as I didn't need stupidly low action. You're being very honest in the listing but you may also have a neck that doesn't actually need the level of repair your luthier suggests, at least for some players?
  17. Hi Sam, If the fretboard needs replacing then it will also need to be refretted and set up, possibly a new truss rod fitted when the board is off. Modern truss rods are much better now, I got my luthier to do this on a few necks that needed this type of work carried out, one of them being a vintage Fender neck. Excellent job when done right but expensive Hope this helps
