  2. Just wondering if it would be an idea to have a separate section for people in the EU to sell? The marketplace section is flooded with EU sellers, and you don't know that until you click on a listing. It's a UK website, and in reality most of us in the UK probably aren't going to buy something in the EU due to customs and tax charges.
  3. Do a search on the make and model in the basses, amps, etc, for sale sections. The sold listings will give you an idea of what to ask to get interest. Then do listings to test the market. It takes a bit of effort but you are listing in the best market place: no fees and no time wasters.
  4. worst piece of kit: LEKATO In-Ear Monitor System MS-1 Bought on an impulse to test against my xvive system, and as a back up. Really flimsy, and every connection crackled on even the slightest bit of movement. Dont send many things back. I returned this.
  5. Cost me about £350 back in the day and was the core of my board and IEM setup for a number of years. Essentially it’s a 2 channel mixer with a DI, balanced and unbalanced out for the bass. With a 2nd input for an IEM feed, this input is switchable mono/stereo. So basically allows you to take a really great FOH signal or utter trash. I use to take a passive feed out of the back of PA speakers. There is then a thru for you to pass this feed on to other band members and I’ll include a 4 channel Behringer Headphone mixer (that currently I can’t find the 12v adaptor for) and you have an all in one IEM solution. So you have a control for the bass volume and the feed volume. Allows as I saw above to just grab anything from FOH and you’ll always be able to hear yourself. I do the same now with my Darkglass Anagram and in a pinch Element. Open to offers and as above will chuck in the Behringer 4 ch headphone amp and 2 pairs of 🤷🏻‍♂️ KS10’s (without tips for hygiene purposes) to give you a full wired simple IEM rig for those wanting to try it all out. Can also be used as a headphone amp with a Twelve South Airfly to add Bluetooth. This was made about 15 years ago so to me is noisier than I would like and the pots can be a bit crackly, but I’ve never sprayed any switch spray in there. Just part of my never ending clearout.
  6. I thought I'd share my bridge/body measurements as I have a Korean Skyler Acord model (love it!) and I really appreciate that the neck is further in on the body than most other 35" scale Spectors I've seen. Though it's a tougher reach to the highest frets past the horn, I don't use those very often and the rest of neck is easier to get to for me.
  7. Yes. I gig a Guild Starfire 1 and a custom made shorty in one band. I also gigged my Acinonyx quite frequently. In my other band I use a Maruszczyk Elwood medium scale and either a Greco P/J, or Hartwood Satellite medium scales. I also have a U5 fretless that I want to gig, given the chance 🤞. I only have one full scale bass these days but never gig it.
  8. Yes...one option might be to rout a hole for the bridge. I had that done a long time ago on a bass which had the (set) neck at slightly the wrong angle...it worked..
  9. Selling my Stanley Clarke Signature Preamp, bought new 3 months ago for £345. Used it once for a musical theatre gig that I had to play some fretless for. Mint condition, in original box with power supply etc £230 including UK postage
  10. ... Urm, urm.
  11. Nothing sounds like a P bass apart from a P bass, my jazzes can get close but not the same
  12. Sorry, I don't own it any more, and it only got used for a handful of gigs and never for any recording.
  13. Eclectic Electric — Primus
  14. have done for the last ten years. Either a Musicmaster, a Les Paul Tribute or a Junior Jet, depending on how the mode takes me.
  15. Link? Would, very much like to have a listen.
  16. Power - Kanye West (feat. King Crimson)
  17. From the site, my bold emphasis "You may also need to choose which audio input and output channels you will use for guitar signals, once you have selected and configured an audio device. Many external USB audio devices that have two inputs provide the guitar signal on the right channel only, so you will set the audio input channels to “Right Only”. If your USB audio adapter has more than two input or output channels, you will be offered a list of channels to choose from."

  19. I am saving this for when my wife moans about my mess! (I need to google what PiPedal is!)
  20. Why not offer it for sale?
  21. Thanks mate, good to know. I'm really looking forward to eventualy getting one and knowing that that sort of money is ok reassures me. I've had a few MIJ Fenders and they were incredible so wouldn't doubt the quality of the Grecos and thankfully I can 'afford' it so don't have to go down the Chinabacker route.
  22. Thanks, will have a play with that 👍
  23. Mainly because the foot switch seemed to have become pretty noisy, and it was annoying me 😅 Perhaps I should just look at fitting a new one, IF it is the foot switch and not a symptom of another component failing.
