  2. I've bought from G4M before with no problems. This is not at all impressive.
  3. I've been away from here for a long time. I've not checked out any members here for a long time.
  4. I've been absent from here for quite a few years. This is my first post in coming back. I've not checked any of these people out. I do, however, know Gary Mac. He's really good and a nice guy too. He lives in Hoddesdon. If you struggle to get hold of him, contact me. I'll help out, if you're still in need of help.
  5. I've got my beady eye on something, so this lovely condition 2023 Aubergine Fender American Performer Mustang is first for the chopping block. It's been with me for a few months and is set up beautifully with 40-95 Elixirs (of course!) Plays like a dream and is in excellent condition with no scratches or dings that I can see. It has only been used for one set on one gig in our live tribute show, so it's not earning its keep and therefore has to go. Comes complete with bill of sale from original owner and the original Fender Deluxe Gig Bag & case candy. I would record you a demo, but I'll let 'Nick Campbell Destroys' do the honours below - he does a lot better job than me! For sale at £825. (New price is £1400 these days!) Interesting trade options considered. Buyer to collect, or can meet half way at a distance of up to 100 miles.

  6. Up for sale is this Behringer Monopoly. A great little clone of the Korg original. Four Oscillators can be played in unison for massive basses/leads etc or played in a polyphonic mode for chords. Lots of sync/ mod options too. This one is pretty much mint and comes with the box. Only used for a short recording project and never gigged or even rehearsed with.
  7. Large headstock (but surprisingly little dive), single Bartolini, standard Zon electrics…
  8. Air-bass, 1958. Mustang bass, 2025.
  9. I love it, and it does what it says on the tin, but the Geddy preamps are much more up my street. I've literally never taken it from the house so it's as new. Any equations, by all means ask.

  12. Well, I do still have this: But I’ll do you one better with this on the same bass: Never quite got round to removing it…
  13. Or a bit more obscure, Prince Charles and the City Beat Band.
  14. I went for the Hercules Travelite, also for fitting-in-gigbag reasons. It's great, thanks for the recommendation!
  15. I was joking … I know it’s there
  16. Nobody? Nice virtually-new Elf with a couple of hours' use? Still here and yours by post for some agreeable amount of money?
  17. Thank you - I can't find a Bossa bass anywhere in the UK. I have another Bossa guitar that was Brian Monroney's (Tom Jones etc) and it's my #1 💛
  18. Our sax player tried using her flute once. It didn't really work musically and all me and the lead guitarist could do while she was playing was stand on one leg with t'other foot on our knee-cap Ian Anderson style. This was, of course, during rehearsal
  19. QUOTE FROM IG: "I've had a handful of messages already asking about this, so I guess I can come right out and talk about it. Mike Watt has been using a couple of my pedals for a while now, and earlier this year he asked if it would be possible to smash everything together into one box for a convenient all-in-one box for gigging and touring. After considerable back-and -forth and several prototypes, The Watt was born. The Watt essentially combines the Single Slice compressor with the Finally v3 preamp/D.I., giving you a tube preamp, variable HPF, and compressor, all in a conveniently sized package. Currently there are only two of these in existence, one for Mike and one for me, but I have parts on order to build more. I wasn't planning on even announcing this yet, but part of Mike's testing of the pedal meant using it at a gig, and I guess the word got out. I expect to have these ready to go by the end of September 2025." Wild guess - not going to be cheap!
