How was Your rehearsal last morning or night ?

Hardest thing is getting the buggers to stop while I tune to drop D or back up again (and NO - d-tuners are the work of Satan). -

Yes it is.

Maybe my ears are puny or I'm easy to please, but I don't get these problems despite switching between wildly different basses.

New to this video game but figured I'd give it a lash. I'm not one for covers, though, so it's original basslines for The Homeball tunes. Sorry 😉

You want: 1) zing - SS RW 30, 35, or 40 set 2) flatter response - Ni RW 45, or 50 set 3) dull sound - flats or tapewounds But on top of this, you need to find the set that speaks to you under your fingers. Yes, changing strings costs, but the bass may become the machine you want after few trials. And a new bass costs much more.

HELP! EBS Microbass II - B channel massive volume drop
warwickhunt replied to warwickhunt's topic in Effects
Multiple times. I've also tried setting/unsetting all switches but it's exactly the same each time. Pretty sure there's something died in Ch B, it'll make a great clean 1 channel preamp/DI but absolutely not fit for the 2 channel purpose or even to use the overdrive (as it is on the B channel). -

Hi BC-ers Firstly, Russ, thanks for your kind concern for my health. I'm glad to say that I'm very well and feeling good. Apologies for being elusive on the support side during recent months, but unfortunately, needs must, as outlined below. (I'll respond individually to those who still have outstanding enquiries) To explain briefly, what started out as a minor production blip with some custom parts further snowballed, compounding the issue to a level that required a good deal of hands-on work from me for several months to keep things rolling. Thankfully, we're through it all now, and our UK assembly supplier has bounced back. This period highlighted a weakness - support relying entirely on me. So, now there are 3 email support tiers: Info, Sales, and Technical, to facilitate sharing the load.

Proper little good Keyboard this one, sadly I don’t have enough space for it. As a non-Keyboard player it came highly recommended by a number of guys that suggested it was actually really decent, especially for the money. A travel affair bit for gigs, and I’m regularly in the Birmingham, Leicester, Nottingham, Sheffield areas particularly.

HELP! EBS Microbass II - B channel massive volume drop
Al Nico replied to warwickhunt's topic in Effects
Well, that would be the test. A signal into input 2 is expected to monitor through CH B. In this case the output is unexpectedly low where it is expected to be similar to CH A Have you tried switching it off and on again? -
Well done Nick's mum!

Aye, I have the NUX in ears so ‘wanted’ their wireless as its 5.8. A plus point is the charging case! The thing that pushed me to Blackstar was that the NUX only have a 2hr (ish) battery life before needing to be charged in the case. An Open Mic play at goes on longer much than that - and generally people use my gear even if I don’t play - and a lot of gigs are 2 1/2 hrs. Didn’t want to risk it. I saw both at the Bass Show and another plus is the Blackstar fit in an old glasses case and take up a lot less space in the old leads bag (should we still be calling them that now?).
