  1. Chantry acoustic and Ashwood (by Crafter) electro-acoustic guitars - Saved from the skip after being left in a storage unit for years by the previous owner. Both are in shitty condition.. covered in scratches, tuners are rusty, tops bellied, etc. You could resurrect them with A LOT of work, but as they’re both super cheap guitars, I see them more as wall hangers, some sort of art project? or simply practice instruments for those wanting to learn more about repair work or fretting etc. FREE TO COLLECTOR from Burntwood, Staffordshire (Sorry I’m not willing to post).
  2. Encore project, LP style with bolt-on neck. Approx 25 years old. The neck is nice and straight, some fret wear on the first few frets but plenty of material left for a fret level. The paint work has it’s fair share of scratches, along with some marks in the finish by the jack socket, courtesy of a rusting jack plate. Missing pickups & electronics (apart from the toggle switch), truss rod cover and jack plate. Comes as pictured, with tuners, nut, scratchplate, control cavity cover, neck plate & screws, tailpiece, bridge (plating has seen better days), knobs and pickup surrounds. SOLD
  3. Dunlop ''Dual Design'' Strap Lock Buttons (Black) - Brand new, never fitted. Buttons only, sorry NO screws included. SOLD
  4. If your strings are hitting the magnets, then your pickups are set too high. However, if the noise is being caused by your fingers touching the magnets, then grounding the magnets will solve the problem. Apply some copper tape to the underside of the pickup, making contact with each magnet. Solder a wire to the tape and solder the other end to the back of a pot (or ground lug on the jack). The noise will now be shunted to ground. Just be sure to use copper tape that has conductive adhesive, or it won't work 👍
  5. Check that the capacitor leg that connects to the pot lug isn't touching the pot casing, and therefore shorting out the cap. If that's OK, then check that pot lugs aren't making contact with any shielding foil/paint (or metal control plate).
  6. D'addario XL Nickel Bass Strings - EXL170S - 45-100 Regular Light Cut for a 2x2 headstock. Genuinely only used for 10 minutes! (customer decided he wanted tapewounds instead). SOLD
  7. Pete recently purchased a case from me. Payment was made immediately, good communication, etc.. a pleasure to do business with.
  8. Mick recently purchased a pack of strings from me.. payment was made straight away, a pleasure to deal with.
  9. Still available.. btw I'm happy to post outside of the UK, just PM me for a quote (no extra cost for most EU countries) 👍
