  1. Past hour
  2. Just tried it out. So, so clean. Better sound than your best oxygen free copper, gold plated connector, washed in unicorn tears cable. I would use it from choice even for a quiet gig with no leaping about.
  3. For sale, My Vintage brand jazz. It has the vintage reissued Jaco alike body but an older fretted P bass neck. Full wilkinson hardware and pickups but with new cream covers. Nice player and ideal if you don't really like jazz width necks. I would estimate 4kg but not 100%, not particularly heavy though for sure. I have a shipping box so postage is negotiable, UK Only please. Cheers Craig.
  4. I was going to have a shot of that one at lunchtime today but wasn't able to make it over. If it's still there on Tuesday when I'm next in the office I'll have a swatch.
  5. Groovy. Mark
  6. This is also the case with my Powerhouse 6x10.

    Cab covers

The Cab cover I bought via Hotcovers on Wednesday afternoon arrived today. It seems well made, fits nicely and is quite thick. I'd recommend.
  8. Ah. Maybe a darker polish for the front, to cover the marks, and a moisture proof spray for the underside?
  9. A bit of a Fender Jazz day today... I picked up a nice Alder/Rosewood 2014 Jazz Deluxe for a friend last night on my way home from the SW. I've been setting it up today, and it plays really well & sounds good, but what I wasn't prepared for was when playing it back to back with my Ash/Maple Elite, how much improved the Elite really was in 2016 over the previous Deluxe. It really is night and day. As folks say, the Elite really was peak Deluxe Series.

  10. The staining is on the front tho. It kind of seeps through and leaves a darken patch on the front of the strap seemingly staining it
  11. My straps are the same. It's on the underside. Does it matter?
  12. Really random one here but..... A few years ago my wife treated me to a rather expensive custom made strap from Bear straps. It a lovely thick piece of dark brown leather (smells amazing too). On the underside it is a smooth suede finish that seems to absorb sweat and leaves a darken patch on the strap. Ive tried various leather cleaners and waxes etc but the suede just soaks up sweat and has left me searching for alternative solutions before ditching the strap. One thought it to buy some waterproof fabric stick tape to apply to the underside which may or may not work but wondering if anyone else had had similar issues?
  13. Bump, make me an offer if you like it
  14. Now then, when a man who holds more Mesa stock than do Mesa buys a new Mesa unit we should all sit up and take notice 👍
  15. Fast Licks Available Through Stainless rws?
  16. Today
  17. It does sound amazing through a 4x12"! Can confirm!
  18. Thank you - I can't find a Bossa bass anywhere in the UK. I have another Bossa guitar that was Brian Monroney's (Tom Jones etc) and it's my #1 💛
  19. Very attractive subtle colour and great grain.👍🏼
  20. Wouldn't work, part of the tone was the direct result of the gravitational field that was itself the result of the mass of the cab
  21. Thank you Mike, message sent. Kind regards
  22. Hi everyone, Up for sale is this SahBro? Brass Section Fuzz. A cool Brassmaster clone in a 1590BB enclosure. It's a nice option if you're looking for that particular kind of fuzz sound, but it's not in a giant enclosure at a larger price. It's got a few dings, but it all works as it should. Here's the reverb shop I got it from: https://reverb.com/uk/item/83850271-sahbro-audio-the-brass-section-brassmaster-clone I'm asking £90 for it. Price includes postage. Below I've attached some quick sound clips too. The signal is a P bass with Chromes, straight into an RNDI. Brass Section Samples.wav Cheers!
  23. Lets just say that when I jam with my kids it doesn't quite sound like this:
  24. Great little amps, had one years ago and in a glam/sleaze rock band used it at rehearsals on rhythm guitar duties to make things easier than carrying full amp/head set up, worked surprisingly well, and connected up to a 412 made a wonderful sound.
  25. Definitely and I appreciate your insight. Personally I am not particularly active on social media and would not talk about this stuff with friends and particularly not with certain family members 😱 So I read comments on BC, the company intranet and BBC news pages to get some perspective about what people think and what they prioritise. I find it very useful to try and second guess the direction of travel. It appears to be off a cliff 🙂 economically i see no solution to inflation, debt or sluggish growth. powers that be are impotent and lacking in vision or mandate. culturally the polarisation is becoming more pronounced and zealotry is rampant in both camps. debate and acceptance of differences is becoming a lost art. the vultures are circling within and outside and the clock ticks. have a great weekend everyone 👍
