I wish I hadn't seen this.... Ideas, ideas, ideas.....

First time I've seen a guitarist that really, really, needs safety goggles.... Basically its an offensive weapon

I could also have told him that he couldn't make it from plastic :)

Not particularly practical but definitely an interesting experiment.

And always with these things it doesn't seem to matter how radical the design is or how little body there is, let alone what it's made of, it still sounds like an electric guitar.

That's because the main component of the sound is the steel or nickel strings driving a magnetic pickup and the traditional guitar amplification.

I prefer a bit more helium in my tone air, for the high frequency response 😂

Tungsten hexafluoride is best for heavy metal.

That. Is stoopid! At full tension a 6 string guitar probably has north of 180lbs of tension across the strings, not sure I'd want 180lbs of tension to crush my hand! I mean innovation is mostly always cool, but this is foolishness!

He should put something inside the gap to avoid the risk of trapping your hand if the strings break. Perhaps a block of wood.

Maybe some more wood surrounding that block of wood attaching to the entire frame of the body to keep it stable.

You could then paint that wood in all sorts of cool colours and finishes, and use different types of wood to get different tones.

You and your crazy, radical ideas! It's so absolutely ridiculous it almost makes sense!

Is this some kind of hybrid air guitar thing?

An air guitar with substance and noise?

Combined with the added frisson of being able to alter the construction of your fingers. 😳😖
