I asked Steve tonight why his new signature bass was black. He explained it was actually white when he got it and immediately had it sprayed Matt Black. I’m guessing it never had the BA bridge on to start with but I’ll ask him if I get the opportunity. He’s got one with him on the tour but it’s unlikely he’ll use it as it’s strung with rounds but I might get the chance to have a go! Ask him why this one has the crappy Fender logo but his original one had the full 70's TV logo... Quote

That’s more than cool that you got to ask the man himself. Hope the shows are going well for you. Quote

Steve is a big fan of our band, they even used one of our songs as a B side. He’s a very down to earth bloke whovabsolutely lives for his music. Nice guy! 5 Quote
Musicman20 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago HOW MUCH?! What on earth is going on.....?! A basic MIM P Bass? Quote
Cato Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I know Steve's had a few resprays over the years, maybe his No 1 will be black by the time the next leg of the Maiden tour kicks off? Personally I always think of him with the blue/gold version but I guess that reflects the era I got into Maiden, for older fans it will be the checkerboard finish and for the newer ones the West Ham edition. Andertons have the Dave Murray Custom Shop 50th anniversary sig for around £10k, makes the MiM look like a snip.. I did wonder if there might be an eqivalent Steve Harris model, but no sign of it yet. Quote
