Unless Santa has a spare gold brick or two, I suspect the tree will be unadorned

If I was aiming for the impossible - just my folks back would do me.

Otherwise;

1) My 66 slab back

2) My 53 Precision back

3) A heritage B15

4) A new splitter van

5) One of John Deacon's old Precisions

1. I’d commission Fender to make me a chambered Precision in black/black/maple (at present this colour scheme not available on the mod shop).

2. If the above not possible I’d get someone to properly chamber one of my current US Precisions to get it at around 7.5lbs.

3. A decent acoustic guitar such as a Martin/Taylor/Gibson J45.

1. Xvive A58 wireless system (will certainly arrive)

2. Ibanez EHB 1000S (not produced anymore, and not in my budget right now for those which are still on the market. I'll have to be patient and snipe some used one.)

3. Well.. nothing more.

Ooooooh. I've got plenty of ideas!

1. Darkglass Anagram

2. Mortrix MIDI controller

3. Boss FV-1W

4. Harley Benton Spaceship 40 (to fit the above on!)

5. Dingwall D-Roc 5 string

I'm sure that'd all fit under the tree 😂

I don't do xmas, but if I did...

1. A Peavey Super Festival 1200 reissue head

2. A Masterbuilt Warwick Vampyre 5

3. A Peavey Firebass head - the red and black one which I always loved the look of in Sound Control, but was never daft enough to actually buy due to the weight.

4. A gigbag where the side handle is placed such that, when it's loaded with stuff and you pick it up, it hangs level with the floor rather than being angled upwards.

5. A gigbag like #4 but mirrored so that when you have a pair of them, you can attach them together back-to-back and pick them up comfortably with both their handles.

Master built Warwick Vampyre 5 and Peavey amps? That is really quite esoteric taste in gear you have, if I might say so.  Nothing wrong with Warwick basses (or Peavey amps) but a Vampyre? Are you sure?

Its that time of year when my wife tells me not to buy anything and to put it on my christmas list.

Unfortunately the dog has eaten all my socks and I'm down to my laat two pairs. So I bought some more on Saturday. So.

1. Socks

I also bought 2 pairs of jeans brown and black - as I can't wear my curent ones out for any Xmas parties.

2. Jeans (I may or may not wear them, then they can be wrapped and I'll open them)

3. Trail running shoes - I'll buy them and they can wrap them.

4. DMX WiFi transmitter/recievers - I'll ask for Amazon vouchers and buy them after.

5. A new bass - no idea what, 3 string, possibly Ibanez - I don't need one - I doubt I'll find one....

1-3 are dead certs.

4 I may change my mind.

5 may stay on the list for the next 10 years...

Heh, if you’d rather that some love your bass and others loathe it than everyone simply ignore it, I admit the Vampyre is certainly a strong choice. I’ve had/got both generations of RockBass Vamp 5, though, so I know what I’d be signing up for 🙂

I’m hoping to spend some time with my brother at Christmas. He has stage 4 cancer so I don’t know how many more goes I’m going to get.

I don’t need any more gear at the moment.
