police squad Posted June 30 Posted June 30 It's happened again Another tribute band has been joined and it needs one of these They're called Total Jam and I've played with them in the past, they're the Andy and Stewart in my Police tribute 22 Quote
HeadlessBassist Posted June 30 Posted June 30 That looks very nice! Congrats 😊 Played a couple of these over the years - hated the vintage one, but quite liked the modern 2010’s model. Enjoy! 1 Quote
fretmeister Posted June 30 Posted June 30 In 35+ years of playing I still haven't tried one. But they do look lovely. Congrats! 1 Quote

ezbass Posted Tuesday at 10:59 Posted Tuesday at 10:59 We do a good quantity of Jam/Weller tunes in my current band, the opportunity to employ a raging SVT tone is always welcome, even though he used Marshalls (Ashdown these days I think). I’ve played them on a P, a Mustang and my Maruszczyk J type (split, humbucking, single coil sized p ups, front selected), they all sound spot on, but I’d still love to try them on a Ric (sold my boat anchor 4003s some years ago), so iconic. Chiliwailer Posted Tuesday at 12:47 Posted Tuesday at 12:47 (edited) Urgh @police squad you got me GAS’ing again - Rics were my first love as a kid, and I’ve not had one for 15 years… 🤔😬 Looks great 👌 Edited Tuesday at 12:47 by Chiliwailer 1 Quote
Skybone Posted Tuesday at 12:59 Posted Tuesday at 12:59 Can't beat a Jetglo 4003 IMO. Good purchase. 👍🤘 1 Quote

There’s a walnut 4003s (I need the lighter weight) about 4 hours away from me, which makes riding out the GAS a little easier. 1 Quote
