cetera Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Finally entering the 21st Century for depping and will be using a new Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ Tablet and a setlist/music app..... but I need to get a decent quality, reliable page turning pedal. Seems there's lots of choices out there. Who's using what and would recommend? Cheers! Quote
itu Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago To consider: - low noise switches? - how many switches you - really - need? - battery saving mode if you forget it ON? Mine is a Pageflip Dragonfly. It has four quiet switches (would work in a studio, or with a symphony band), super long battery lifetime, and extra weight. The unit has lights, too, but the form of the unit is so distinctive you cannot miss. Low noise means no tactile feedback, but I do can see, when the page is turning. Now I would choose the simpler one with two switches only: Butterfly or Firefly. The two extra switches are not needed, but on the way. They are also slimmer units. There was extra metal inside that I removed. The pedal can move on a slippery floor, but because I carry everything in my mono case, lighter, and slimmer is better. 1 1 Quote
stewblack Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Lekato. Mine has gone on and on. Metal case, small, rechargeable, reliable. I bought a second one as a back up and have never needed it. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/403165593572?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=aRG_XW7pQYW&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=hpH4mU1xR2S&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY 1 Quote
hiram.k.hackenbacker Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago I was going to jump straight in here and say that I’ve only ever had one, because it’s the only one I’ve ever had, it’s bombproof, ultra reliable and still going strong 6 years after I bought it from Thomann. However, it appears the ‘Airturn BT200S-2’ is no longer available. I’ll have a look and see if I can find one somewhere. 1 Quote
