@EddieG - How's the bass, does it play well? Mine didn't... Intonation was way off and with a fixed bridge it could be rectified. Hope you're enjoying you're new bass. Assuming you have it that is... Sadly the betting man in me would wager everything I own of you not having it.

Think they're referring to the poster still waiting for some sort of vaguely bass-shaped object from Jon Letts.

 

Hopefully he's written this off as a learning experience and moved on. Letts appears to be skint, wholly untrustworthy and generally a bit useless based on what we've heard here, I'd have bought myself a different bass and tried to forget about it.

Read a bit further back - from context you will glean that we were discussing the lack of input from the unfortunate soul who engaged the "services" of the "luthier".
