Out of interest, what's the point of the Moose?

Si
as FretNoMore says ... Moose selects presets stored in hub, so pedal board can be on amp or in a rack etc & just moose out front which can also run on 9v battery ... :)

Aftershock so far gets close to Darkglass sound (was a must really) & run all through amp's effects loop as Source Audio pedals can take line level ... will update pic as now have Nemesis (may also add Vertigo but will need nano+), both pedal board & moose fit in back of rack case :)

The crazy big board is finally fully functional after chasing out some MIDI gremlins and finding a MIDI chain where everything works ...

For those interested ... wiring diagrams and MIDI Designer layouts *here*.

Thanks, I'm a happy camper now! But in the very near future I wanna smack a Boss DD-5 or DD-6 on there too.

And yup! It's actually a Space Station/XP300 in the housing of a Modulator. I was lucky enough to find one that wasn't priced too high.

Pedal order is like this: bass -> TC Electronic Polytune -> Boss OC-2 -> DIY Bass Tubescreamer -> EHX NYC Muff modded to a vintage green russian one with extra mods -> Earthquaker Devices The Depths -> OneControl 1LoopBox with the Digitech Space Station in the loop -> Line6 DL4 -> amp.
Sick!

Yes ... but I need to do some programming of presets first and that may take a while as I tend to get sidetracked when experimenting. Time flies by and nothing gets done. :)

picked up a new line selector from Tom over at COG so i can switch between two different settings/amounts of parallel blend on my suncoast b1p preamps, setting 1 has the more overdriven pre lower in the mix, whilst setting 2 brings it forward

Here's my current board - simple but sounds great for my needs.

I've got the compressor always on in the series loop of the Basswitch and the drive in the mix loop (which has a clean blend function). There's a great EQ and DI on the BS and the Cali76 adds a really nice colour with it's inbuilt pre-amp as well as it's comp duties.

The bonus of the Cali is it's the Cali76-G which has a germanium drive built in so if I run it with input and output up full and the germanium control all the way round to dirty it's a wonderful, filthy sound. There's a Cioks DC5 hiding underneath powering everything at optimal voltages! Tuner has it's own tuner line out from the BS so is out of the signal chain.

My Pedaltrain Metro 16 arrived today so spent the afternoon wiring her up. All neat and tidy, little pushed for space though! And pardon the vintage Boss tuner, I will get round to updating it at some point...

Simple, but I love it.

Biggest board got up-/ downgraded (up in sounds, down in size). Ditched the M13 for the M9 and the PDS2700 for the PDS20/20 (finally!):

Chain:
Boss TU-3 --> DOD FX25B (808 mod) --> T.A.A.S. Basscreamer Deluxe --> EHX POG2 --> Fuzzrocious Rat Tail --> GGG-Tuned "Muff Diver" --> Digitech PDS 20/20 --> Boss DD-6 --> Boss PN-2 --> DOD FX10

You can hear a few sounds i'm probably going to use for a (S)NES project I have coming up here and here.

I just bought a Pedaltrain Metro 20 to house a few spare pedals but I got distracted and started messing about with some of my favourites, I ended up with this and I'm really happy with it. I'll be taking this board out for Saturday's gig. The phaser pedal is programmed for flange & chorus.

Line6 G30 > Polytune Mini > Catalinbread boost > COG Knightfall 66 > COG Grand Tarkin > 3 Leaf GR2 > COG T-16 octave > Source Audio Lunar phaser.

Finally acquired all the parts to my simple board.
Boss OC2
Keely Bassist Compressor
TU2
Pedaltrain Nano+

All powered by a Fueltank Jr.
My gigs don't really call for much more than some synthy OC2 stuff. Otherwise, just the compressor which I only got today, which will be an always on job. Very impressed with it so far, incredibly easy to dial in. Just got to get some velcro and mount the Fueltank underneath and then patch it all in. I've played the last two years with only a clip on tuner, but I'm really looking forward to having a simple but effective board again 😁
