The last few bands I've been in have all been 6 piece affairs. It helps cover your screw-ups, and you stand a better chance in a fight. I picked up some nasty injuries whilst working as a trio. I've only ever been in 3 pieces really before this one but I think I prefer it - although it's quite tricky at times with the Keys and bass occupying the same sort of frequency range - I think I might just chop his left hand off - that should solve the problem. About 75 members at any one time but "only" 30 or so on stage for gigs This pic shows almost everyone ... I'm there on Baritone sax, there's a few brass and saxes (including a bass sax) beyond the end of the picture ...
