The designs are a bit meh to me, rehashing Gibson Les Paul's but they can be made to your own spec as to hardware etc. It's an interesting concept and I'm sure we will see more of this in the future. The prices are in line with other top end builders, 3500 NZ dollars or around £1925. There's the link. Just because it didn't need a chisel doesn't mean it hasn't been made with care. The tech is new. It is expensive at the minute, but as with all things it will get much cheaper. They all seem like extremely high quality 3D prints, which is impressive and justifies the price in my eyes. I'm also assuming that all design flaws that would normally come with having a non-standard body have been addressed. I would love to hear a sound demo too. These are effectively skeleton guitars with fancier attachments, expensive novelties. Much more interesting potential to 3d printing out there. However for the price I would expect a better resolution than that. The step marks are a bit obvious and big on the front body curve. Dont let them tell you its a design thing!
