Beedster
OK I thought, new website, new approach. "You have four awesome basses Beedster, stick with them my son". That lasted about two weeks until I decided I want to play one Precision Bass (Kylie) and one Precision Bass only (OK, with a Jazz backup). That phase will no doubt last until I've sold the other two and realise that I 'need' a 5er, a fretless, an active, a pointy and a backup (and possibly a pointy backup). And then around we go again Anyway, it's been a pleasure to deal with all you guys so if I manage to hold on to Kylie, ignore this thread. If however I decide to start accumulating again - and the odds are good - I might need some feedbacks Cheers Chris Edited April 14, 2011 by Beedster
Muppet
Didn't buy a bass off him (surprise) but did sell him some bits that'll no doubt find their way on to a bass that someone WILL buy off him ;-) Hardly needs to be said, but I'll state the bleeding obvious and say 'top bloke'. silverfoxnik
Just sold my Hughes & Kettner 410 to Chris and had a good old chinwag about life, the universe and basses as per usual! Great way to spend time when selling something and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone who has yet to buy/sell/trade basses & bass gear with Chris...Though there can't be many of you left out there by now, I would've thought? Thanks mate....see you soon! Nik

Sparky
Not that he needs it, but here's some feedback for Mr.B. I picked up a beautiful Precision bass from Chris on Christmas Eve. I'd put my name down for it 2 or 3 weeks prior to pickup but living at opposite ends of the country, the transaction had to wait. During this period, I subjected Beedster to persistent badgering - seriously, I was so excited I just couldn't help myself - I was PM'ing him day and night, quizzing him about the guitar, maintenance, all that craic! anyway, Chris was a complete gent and put up with it. Right from the beginning of the sale, he was straight up about what he was selling and after explaining that i was a novice buyer, even suggested that this may not be the right buy for me - it's a custom build, may not be as easy to sell on, may not appreciate as well as a Fender yada yada yada... but alas, he didn't succeed in talking himself out of a sale. I've had the guitar a few weeks now and am chuffed to bits with it. This is feedback not only for Beedster the seller, but also Beedster the bass guitar craftsman. The Beedster Sig. P Mk.I rocks - it plays beautifully and the sound is as pure and honest as you'd want from any P. When he was re-assembling the guitar after wiring in the controls he gave me choice and advice about which pickup to have installed, which bridge and even what type of strings... in the end he gave me TWO sets - just to encourage me to try flats! A very generous and sound gesture. Yes yes, if you're planning to buy from Beedster, I'm sure it'll be a pleasant experience. So, there you go.. here's a link to the BassPorn thread for the forementioned P. Wollop! Just bought some more Beedster kit and as ever, Chris is a pleasure to deal with. Can't work out how to use it, but that's another story Thanks mate - hope to see you soon!
