essexbasscat Posted March 10, 2012 Share Posted March 10, 2012 Memorable time while rehearsing with a rock band that played AC/DC, Deep Purple, Bon Jovi etc. I started playing Harvest for the World while casually strumming a spare acoustic.The whole band pounced on it there and then and it turned into a glorious 10 minutes of improvised harmonies and sensitive playing. [/quote] +1 Loved the Isley's Motown output - especially 'Take some time out for love' which I think was the follow up to 'This old heart of mine'. I've not replaced my old scratchy vinyl discs with CD's yet so maybe I need to make a few purchases! Great music at its time and still sounds fresh now.
