1. Yup! I'd say it's the best Adult Swim animation... beating the usual ATHF, Venture Bros. etc. It only ran for two seasons so you can watch the whole thing in like two hours
2. BTW, in case anyone is confused, "You're Doom" is a reference to a rather hilarious series called Frisky Dingo. Quick summary to this gag: an alien super-villain called Killface has built a massive engine to drive the Earth into the Sun but because he's blown all of his money on making this machine he doesn't have the budget to broadcast his evil plot globally so he resorts to making ten thousand post cards which backfires: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1OYA_rNgGjg
3. I do like that I do. GLWTS!
4. Oh that is nice, isn't it? If I could I would but I've just had to buy a new car. Good luck with the sale matey
5. The difference between the two is something almost subtle; you can dial in a usable tone with the B3K easier than the B7K but with some tweaking the B7K produces a broader range of tones that sit in a live mix better. Not to disparage the B3K but I had an extra inch or two on my board so I figured why not? They're both excellent drive pedals.
6.
With thanks to Kevin who's selling a US one on here, the differences are that the US one has a 'soft touch' bypass switch and when bypassed the US one keeps the EQ in circuit whereas the Finnish original doesn't. Peter
That's not accurate; the EQ and dirt circuit are bypassed on the US version too, the main difference is there's a buffer in the bypass to power the DI whether the effect is on or not.
7. That colour is amazing! I'd love that with a pearloid scratchplate.
8. I tried one of these a few years ago and was actually blown away. Average action but the one I tried was very resonant and had a healthy P-bass growl. I was tempted to dip into the overdraft to grab that one there and then. Same colour too. Good luck with the sale
9. Don't do it, Kev!
10. Glad to hear you installed with ease One word of advice for these; when you tune your low E and then drop to D and move back up, the E will be slightly sharp. So, I find it best to tune the E very slightly flat, check the tuning of the D and then it's usually bang on when brought back up. Once it's tuned it'll stay in tune, you just have to make sure to check the E as above.
11. In that case I'd put the price drop at the top of your first and leave the original asking price field as is.
12. Also, the Tone Hammer isn't hi-fi sounding in my opinion. This is good for me but others may be disappointed.
13. I'm a big fan of the TH 500. Its tone is almost ideal for me; warm, punchy and with present (but not unpleasant) high end. If you've tried one and found it lacking some trebley-snap, I'd recommend checking the cab you're using to see if you can increase the level of the tweeter/horn. I find using a TH500 and a pair of DB112s I can find warm, wooly tones or growly, aggressive clank from playing with the EQ and with the crossovers on the back of the cabs.
14. Word of advice, mate: you might want to edit your original post so that the price at the top says £750 instead of £875. You might get more biters if people having a quick nose see that amended price
15. Lozz bought a Hipshot detuner from me. Instant payment, excellent comms and a perfect example of how to conduct business. Deal with confidence
16. What other pedals are you using with it? I've not used a B3 myself but just looking at its specs online it has a heavy current draw of 500mA. I assume it's fine when you run it on its own?
17. Thanks mate I'd love to take it off your hands but I don't think I have enough equipment I'd be willing to part with.
18. I reckon it's probably a Warmoth body. If you take the neck off there'll probably be a Warmoth logo stamped or burnt into the neck pocket.
19. If I could, I would
20. I love me some uke! Currently have some toy ukulele after my cheap soprano died at a house party. I've also got a nice Kala baritone with mango laminate. Doesn't get played as much as it should though
21. I've been having fun with mine which I picked up this week. Here's something I did the other night which turned out alright. Still getting the hang of looping. http://soundcloud.com/bigbassbob/ditto-messing-around
22.
HI, rather fancy this but just wondering why the low B seems to be virtually hanging off the board??..Some pics of the rear would be good...cheers
I was going to ask the same thing. That B string's spacing on the fingerboard looks a bit off to say the least
23. Aha. A is usually the very lowest I'll go down to with an octaver so for argument's sake let's say that the lowest usable frequency from an octaver would be around 27.5 hz. I'm going to have to do some experimenting to see what is truly the best place for a HPF.
