I use a pedal train case for my board and a simple backpack for all my leads, strings, strap etc.

Tried that setting today and it doesn't sound close to what I had yesterday... I dunno, maybe I was tired or something, i'll post it later if you still want it

Yeah, i'll post it in the morning... thing is, my overdrive is very thick and wooly and the deepimpact on it's own sounds really fizzy and bright... i made it to compliment the overdrive so it may not be too useful to you.

The ban came into Wales recently too. I'm still torn about it, because I smoke myself. I don't mind going outside for a smoke and at one gig, the owner was kind enough to let me smoke in his backroom. The main thing I've found annoying is that some people kind of view the ban as a chance to play holier than thou and give long winded preaches about the ill effects of smoking... 1 person in my memory gave me a speach about smoking before the ban.. since the ban, I've had about 20 people (some i know, some complete strangers) give me a speach about it.

After some experimentation today, I've come to the following conclusion: My passive basses work better with my Deep Impact. My Deep Impact works with my active Fender, but some settings go a bit funny with it. Tried it with my Rick4003 and passive jazz and it was happy to oblige. I also made my own preset when used with an overdrive, provides a very close "Hysteria" tone

hmmm, I'm starting to think that either my playing's getting sloppy (which i'm pretty sure it isn't) or my DeepImpact is losing it's tracking quality Anyone know if this is possible?

Will do mate I'll record clips of all my pedals when the board's done I tried this idea before at a gig and it was amazing, but I ran my voodoobass with low gain and high output into a Boss Bluesdriver with lowgain and medium output into an already clipping valve preamp. That setup seemed to click perfectly, I can honestly say it was the best bass overdrive I've ever used, but I found the bluesdriver a bit fizzy so I've been after something more 808 based with more gain and bass I'll post clips of THAT sound if I can achieve it with the Abunai ^_^

actually steve norris, tim commerford has a doubleneck fender with one neck tuned E-A-D-G and the bottom one B-E-A-D (if i remember rightly). He had a normal neck for standard tuning and used a left handed neck for the lower tuning because in his opinion it helps with the tension.

It's a guitar overdrive based on the TS808 circuit but with more gain and a wider frequency response. Been after a decent 808 style pedal for a while so I'm gonna give this one a bash to see how it holds out Just waiting for ToneFreak to finish up the next batch and for ToneFactor to get them in stock... and then international shipping ARGH!!!! ... probably about a month's wait
