1. This has got me thinking... has anyone looked at the frequency output of say an octave pedal, say an OC 2 to see what the lowest frequencies are?
2. Both pickguard blanks measure just over 12" x 18".
3. My logic behind the placement on my board is that it's affecting my bass' signal in a way that would allow further effects in the chain to respond better. I keep a compressor on the end of the chain to tame any volume spikes from my envelope filter but, as said before, I figure that with my light use of octave and filter I would rather get the full sound of those effects for those brief periods where THAT sound is required.
4. My essentials are: Tuner, HPF (if the amp doesn't have one), overdrive/preamp and compressor. They don't have to be there but they make my life a whole lot easier.
5. I can't say I've noticed it affecting my speaker movement as I can't see my speakers but it definitely is handy for taming that boomy, rumbling crap at the far end of the sonic spectrum. I keep mine after the tuner. I don't use my envelope filter and octave all the time so I figured that even if they add some extreme low end back in I'd rather have the character of the effect intact.
6. Bumping! Would be interested in a Pedaltrain Nano or Mini/equivalent.
7. Gerry bought a pickguard from me. Hassle-free transaction and a top bloke to deal with!
8. Bought some pickguards from me, paid promptly and good comms. A gentleman to deal with!
9. Bumping! Also accepting trades and offers.
10. Nick bought a bridge from me. Immediate payment, excellent comms and a gentleman to do business with
11. The Tone Hammer heads are great and if the SL line sound anything like the DB series this is a cracking little rig!
12.
ha haa - mad. I ordered a set of red LED from the same website about 3 weeks ago!! How long did yours take to ship??
Haha, nice! It was about a week and a half but I didn't get stung by customs.
All you need to do now is fit a set of alloys to your pedalboard and drive it around the town centre late at night.
Chav-tastic?
13. Definitely not the real deal.
14. Hi guys, got some pickguard sheets for sale: Cream pearloid blank (pearl/cream/black) - [s]£20 £15 posted[/s] SOLD Mint green blank (mint/black/mint) - [s]£15 £10 posted[/s] SOLD Both measure at about 12" x 18". Cheers, Bob.
15. Bear in mind that fuzz doesn't work well with tweeters/horns. Not to say you can't use fuzz with horns but in my experience the best fuzz sounds I've gotten are from cabs without them.
16. http://www.oznium.com/led-ribbon They don't come with a 2.1mm barrel socket; they're a pair of pins (one +, one -) and you put the barrel jack in so that they light up as so: http://www.oznium.com/linear-light-power-adapter-wire/tech Thanks for the feedback, guys I like to keep things simple as more the stuff I have going on the more likely something is going to go wrong! Glad to hear they should be alright. Cheers, Bob.
17. Hi guys, I recently hooked up a pair of LED strips to the underside of my pedalboard. They're 12V DC (running at 9V), have a current draw of about 150mA and are running off the daisy chain from a Onespot: I've been testing the board at home and haven't noticed any form of hiss/hum/noise as a result of these lights running on the same daisy chain as my pedals. I was wondering if anyone can foresee any potential problems with this setup? With my limited knowledge of electronics I'm fairly certain they won't cause any issues but I'd just like to check with people who are more knowledgeable than I Cheers, Bob.

Kev's Feedback

Bought an IE Polytope from Kev. Sound guy, flawless transaction. I would definitely do business with him again!
19. Lovely! My first bass was a MIJ P. I regret parting it out for various frankenstein endeavours If I could I would mate.
20. Yeah mate, it's still for sale. PM me
21. I use Georgle L's.
22. As far as I know the consensus on these is that there isn't a drop in signal quality but even when using them with pedals that have jacks perfectly in-line with each other, they can place unnecessary strain on the jacks when you step on the pedals (this is obviously far worse if the pedals are off-centre with each other).

24. As soon as Taylor fixes the noise issue I will be ordering one! My subtle overdrive can be damned it means I can have a decent octave and synth in a small enclosure
