  1. And if you want to try and learn some - this guy on YouTube is very good https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUd7cP9eT5SLvX39z4aGOpw It's strange how much easier it is to watch and learn from a lefty when trying to play along 😄
  2. To be fair to the guy, he's not trying to hide anything. He's put more photos up than you would get on a fully functional and intact bass!😅
  3. Safe to say, I'm addicted to anything Vulf et al. release. It's just so easy to listen to and fun.
  4. Funny this should come up - I'm literally away to put my first set of NYXLs on my G&L after reading some very positive reviews!
  5. Newly Discovered Band Of The Day - The Main Squeeze.  Fuzzy, funky goodness 🤙

  6. Looks like it. I don't have it to hand, but I'll send you some photos later on.
  7. 😂😂😂😂
  8. Been in my new place for almost 2 months. FINALLY got my desk practice set up sorted, Phil Jones Bass Buddy just tucked away under the monitor. Nice.

It's nice to get settled in.

  9. Nice! I have a Tanglewood Funkmaster which looks *very* like a Warwick Streamer. I'm sure Kiogon will be along shortly and he will hopefully be able to help you out. If not I have an EMG-BQC preamp that I don't have any use for, might involve a few extra pots though.
  10. Wow! Thanks! I'll PM you now.
  11. I see you're in Central Scotland. Merchant City in Glasgow have a few basses and I think they have one of every Reverend guitar model in every colour. Flippin loads of them!
  12. Of course these wee adaptors are available for pennies, but I find they don't fit snugly. Sound sometimes cuts out when I move the headphones Can anyone recommend some ones that actually fit 3.5mm so I don't have to sit still while practising 😅
  13. Like buses, it would seem.
  14. Think it's this one: https://shop.fender.com/en-GB/squier-electric-basses/jazz-bass/vintage-modified-jazz-bass-77/0307702500.html?rl=en_US
  15. As Andy has sad, pretty much that, found a picture which clarifies that.
  16. This is some roller-coaster you're on mate!
  17. Oooh now that's a very tempting idea for my 425....How much we talking? Less than £150?
  18. Played some VERY nice Sandbergs today.

If my G&L doesn't up its game in the near future it could be facing the chop!

@discreet does this tickle your whatsit (or your wotsit) any? I err *cough* know the seller very well *cough* and can highly recommend him as an absolute gent (that's gent, 'K?) to deal with.

@Osiris It would indeed be very ticklish but for the usual problem! Thanks for the link though, none of this is helping me spend money on all the piddling crap I really don't want to spend it on, but have to. Bah! :(

      Just gonna leave these here:

  19. Yikes..... You always want couriers to prove you wrong but.....
  20. Nevermind, quick phone call and they changed my order to a kind of "pre-order" for 45-105. Love it when customer service works!
  21. Damn, NYXL out of stock in my preferred gauges, ordered a set of 45-100 and I'll see how I get on. Thanks for the heads up!
  22. Got the old girl out of her case and gave her a bit of clean. Not bad considering she's close to 40!
  23. I see GuitarGuitar Glasgow have some Sandberg 48s in.....

Think I'll happen to be passing by in the near future.

  24. Maybe August is the month for this funk machine to find a new home?
