    Had lots of basses but settled on a bitsa jazz and a CIJ '62 fretless. The CIJ quality as far as I'm concerned is at least as good as the USA stuff

    Bump for a super cool bass, following on from the dating thing I've just been fettling a friends jazz today, the neck plate dates it as a 1973 and it has all the same features as yours, 4 bolt neck, no skunk stripe, trussrod adjustment at heel, rosewood board with blocks and binding, 4 inch pickup spacing etc. It's a cracking bass , so is yours but unfortunately as usual shame I don't have the readies to spare!!
