is the spectracomp tri band?

Still a bit muddy, tried that. Perhaps a different Comp? I always thought the comp was at the end of a signal chain

My compressor ( Rothwell love squeeze, and Pigtronix comp) seems to make my Solid gold fx beta sound a bit muddy when compressor is placed after the overdrive in the signal chain. Should i try a dual band comp?

Just purchased a Solid gold beta mk2 pedal, tried with with two class d heads at home( Genz 600, GK fusion). Seems to sound better through the GK at lower volumes. Have been trying two compressors after the Beta in the chain( Rothwell love squeeze. Pigtronix bass comp). The Beta seems to sound clearer without the compressor next in the chain. Tried different settings with the Comps and it just seems to muddy the tone abit. Will i have more success the a dual band comp to control the high and lows . Any advice would be a great help

The Tropical fish cap was meant to be 0.047 ,(perhaps it didnt get on with the SX pots. The tone sounded harsher and less defined, Sx basses are half decent for the money, and usually give a passable p bass tone. Would it be worth my while getting some CTS pots with a orange drop cap.

Bought a cheap SX p bass as a backup, decided to upgrade a few parts. Upgraded machine heads, then bought a mullard tropical fish cap swapped out the the green cap. The pots are cheap and the mini size, when i installed the new cap it actually made the bass sound worse, seemed to to lack a certain p bass vibe that it had. Could it be that the new cap didnt work well with the existing pots? I put an old green cap back on that i had hanging around and it was back to normal, not sure its going to be worth spending anymore on it.
