This model had the super ferrite pickups which gibve it a bit more of an agressive sound than that your run of the mill jazz bass. Together, the bass sings with a pick, and the neck pickup on its own give a good hot Precision sound, lovely with a touch of distortion. The bass has some marks as expected from being alive this long. Everything works well, though the pots do crackle when turned. The knobs are also aftermarket as the originals were sold as theyre very popular on ebay. Based in New Brighton if you want to give it a try. £180 ono.
