1. The luthier told me he found the machine head that way, without the screw, to me seems impossible to lose it because I've never unscrew it.. By the way.. I found the distributor of the machine and I've been lucky because he had a spare part, it arrived yesterday
2. Thank you for the answer I'l check the website you mentioned
3. Hi guys.. yesterday I retired my doublebass from the luthier for a setup and now a screw from a machine head has been missing..(no comment please) The machine is a Irving Sloane in the picture you can seen the screw.. Does anybody have an idea where I can find that screw? Who is the producer?
4.
Welcome to Basschat. ...
) thank you!
5. Seems that the most of you agreed with the fact that the sound isn't full range. I've been playing with GK mbx since now and the portability is really unbeatable..I was looking for something of the same size/weight but with a more complex tone..seems I'm looking for something that simply doesn't exist
6. Does anyone have experience with this cab and double bass? I actualy play with an Aguilar Tone Hammer and a Gallien Krueger mbx 112 or an Epifani 12" and, to be honest, 90% of my gig are with the mbx cause is really unbeatable for its portability but I would like something come full range. Could the Barefaced be a good option for replace the GK?
7. It looks a really good cab for his dimensions, weight and power but the cab i actually use the most is a gallien mruemer mbx 112, is the most portable cab ever but I start missing all the frequencies (up and down) a great cab has. So I'm looking for something more fullrange and I thing the barefaced is not the right cab for that
8. @Marty: Barefaced is another interesting brand, never tried this cabs but I red are pretty colored, what's your impressions with the double bass? Are them good with acoustic instruments? @Passiwind: thank you for share your experienced, I'm sure they are great cabs with the electric bas but I'm looking for a new cab for the doublebass, used in classic trio/quartet band
9. Hi guys, I'm looking for a new cab to replace my GK mbx, I was looking at the schroeder website and I'm really interested in the 1x10 or the 1x8.... Anyone had experience with this brand with the double bass? I'm not looking for something with a huge volume but is more important the portability and the quality of the acoustic sound..
10. He's simply a great seller. I bought from him a Precision 55 Custom Shop and the bass is in really perfect condition. Super reccomanded!
11. any trades w electric bass-studio preamp
