3.
Hehe. To be fair, though, when we did buy a blender, I read the manual.
what ratio of wet / dry do you set it? does it help retain the low end?
4. the only problem i find with changing the position you play relative to the beat is that with an inexperienced drummist, they end up either speeding up or slowing thinking that they are behind or ahead - whichever is appropriate!
5. i've eeked a set of elixirs out for over a year before. They really do last exceptionally well
6. from what i recall - there was nothing to be ashamed of mate!
7. i have the mxr 6 band - great size wise, but balancing the on/off signal is a bit of a challenge, i also have the boss - dependable, solid, good frequency choices there's the Chord one, same pretty much as the GLX mentioned above - almost identical to the boss, but i got mine new for £20. but the best i have is the Trace one. 18v power, preset shape and slider activation switches, a beautiful sounding eq - meaning i love what it does to my sound with the two sections combined

9. Been gassing for one of these for ages. Just waiting for one at the right price sounds absolutely huge through a decent rig with the sound set just perfectly. I thought I was the only one!
10. guitar - jazz 3 max grip bass - tortex ish 1.19 custom printed in none more black!
11. i'm looking for a complete score for the rocky horror show, anyone?
12. this might help: http://www.drtube.com/schematics/marshall/ibs.pdf it's an Integrated bass system combo
13. with your jap boss pedals in mind, these are pricey but might be ideal - http://www.stringsdirect.co.uk/products/64...fastener_3_pack
14. obligatory vt bass suggestion. you might also try to find a cream pie (don't google it!)
15. higgie, how are you finding the aguilar compared to something like the ebs or mxr bod?
16. don't know if he's been mentioned before, but Brian Wilson
17. "the bassline in this Led Zeppelin inspired track consists mainly of syncopated eighth notes, but should be played with plenty of expressive variations and colour. The second half of the piece is largely a matter for your own creative instincts, whether in the bass solo or by supplying accompaniment to the other solos that are present in the song. Dynamic shaping will be important here, and you should use this as an expressive tool as much as you can" HTH
18. input to suit, freq 10:00 q switch up drive 2:00 +10 switch down mix 1:30 out at unity
19. definitely Tim Smith, Zappa, but i'd like to add EVH to the list. Multi instrumentalist, arguably changed the face of rock guitar, regrettably responsible for shredders as artists! IMO, however a genius none the less.
20. Is it ever worth trying to buff a turd just a little? only if you have run out of flags! i believe that what has already been said pretty much covers it
