With st I saw him using tobias basses among others.
What does it list on the gear blurb on lights, camera, revolution?
If I get a chance, I'll have a look later
I had someone approach me after a show congratulating the band on plying thin lizzys jailbreak.
He told us that he appreciated it especially since he was in the band for a little while.
At this point I'm wondering since he doesn't look like anyone I recognise.
He buys us all a drink and whispers in my ear that he is actually midge ure.
This guy was easily twice the size of midge, and was totally bald.
We all laughed along until we left and had the 'can you believe it!' talk outside
Bought a catch o matic grabby stand from David.
Thoroughly simple transaction.
He's fantastic at packaging too! It took me at least 15 mins to get it unwrapped!!
Yet another basschat good guy.

I'm doing pretty much the same in one of my bands.
I use
Dod fx91 for an always on light valvey drive
B3k for more drive
Mxr bfd for thick fuzzy stuff
Ibanez weeping demon for wah
Mxr black label chorus for .... Chorus
And just for fun- a carbon copy for big endings
There is another thread somewhere about this.
I talked with the a&r guy from ashdown about this at the bass show last year. Still waiting to see more than a production sample rhough
Apart from the ernie ball, the boss fv500 is great.
Really adjustable and costs less than the ernie
It also has an exp out too, which works really well
After going through a few different pairs, I settled on a pair of Bose triport ie.
Lovely sound although not isolating. Clear bass and great top end. To my ears they sound pretty transparent too
