  1. Hartke 3500 and a old, very old Trace cab,15 and a 10, (thinking shes about 1985ish) lives in the van, gosh its a weight, also as a spare a tc500 and a pair of 2x12,which only use for depping, home use.But at the end of the year, thinking of going light weight
  2. That great news, long may you rock..
  3. Tune mine befor the start, then check befor the start of the next sets, mostly its in tune, but the ride in the van always leaves it flat .Strap lock came off a couple of weeks ago.just as I spun around, bass up in the air, across the stage, landed, very loud sound, quess what...... .totally out of tune hehe sorry
  4. Hi played there a couple of weeks ago,new guy is just great, just what the doctor ordered, the Malt Shovel will be the place to play, but confirm your bookings asap.. ps.Said he is changing the play area, going to take out the daft post and wall,if you play there you will know the bit..
  5. well done,I had the same feelings about an amp I won on Ebay, but it was a steel.

  14. yes started on an Avon jazz copy, had it for years,it took a long time to realise it was letting me down, found out big time when I brought a Ric,had GAS ever since...
  15. Worked with a singer, long long time ago,he had nothing to do with the band, until we had the songs nailed, then we redid them on his terms, with his vocals, but he was really good,I mean real good..( did one gig all the band was sacked ..haha ),so beware, never done this since, always grown a band together ..best of luck with the band.
  16. Still got one and 2x2x12 cabs, used it for depping,a fantastic little amp,no weight at all, same for the cabs, would recomend strongly, amp sounds very strong and very loud, only not gigging it now, using 2x4x12 and Hartke 3500,not for the tone,( what ever I use sounds like me ) just for the visuals, the two cabs my side equal up the Marshalls..The BH sorry is not 70s rock..
  17. A Hartke 3500 and 2x4x12 cabs,seems to work for me,its not the volume,a spread of tone,hehe
  18. The 70s rock band Juicy Lucy,no more time for other projects.
  19. wow what can I say about Tom,a true gent,a pleasure to do a sale with, great coms, but Tom went the extra mile,or miles by driving down to me to deliver the cabs,a true gent, and a real nice guy.THANKS Tom. also liked the natter we had re...basses,
  20. Never had any problems with the "punters"the only damage done to a couple of basses was done by .................................Drummers who did not give a flying thing,a bass is for playing, had some really expencive ones, gigged then in some hell holes, never gave it athought....until now
