3. well done,I had the same feelings about an amp I won on Ebay, but it was a steel.

13. yes started on an Avon jazz copy, had it for years,it took a long time to realise it was letting me down, found out big time when I brought a Ric,had GAS ever since...
14. Worked with a singer, long long time ago,he had nothing to do with the band, until we had the songs nailed, then we redid them on his terms, with his vocals, but he was really good,I mean real good..( did one gig all the band was sacked ..haha ),so beware, never done this since, always grown a band together ..best of luck with the band.
15. Still got one and 2x2x12 cabs, used it for depping,a fantastic little amp,no weight at all, same for the cabs, would recomend strongly, amp sounds very strong and very loud, only not gigging it now, using 2x4x12 and Hartke 3500,not for the tone,( what ever I use sounds like me ) just for the visuals, the two cabs my side equal up the Marshalls..The BH sorry is not 70s rock..
16. A Hartke 3500 and 2x4x12 cabs,seems to work for me,its not the volume,a spread of tone,hehe
17. The 70s rock band Juicy Lucy,no more time for other projects.
18. wow what can I say about Tom,a true gent,a pleasure to do a sale with, great coms, but Tom went the extra mile,or miles by driving down to me to deliver the cabs,a true gent, and a real nice guy.THANKS Tom. also liked the natter we had re...basses,
19. pm sent....
20. Never had any problems with the "punters"the only damage done to a couple of basses was done by .................................Drummers who did not give a flying thing,a bass is for playing, had some really expencive ones, gigged then in some hell holes, never gave it athought....until now
21.
My gripe is noise between songs. Our guitarist has some kind of compulsory disorder where , even after hours of exhausting rehearsals, he still has to play parts of the song before we start, giving away whats coming and sounding dreadfully unprofessional. Our drummer also has some kind of urge to rehearse triplets in between songs. This turns into a cacophony of mess, which annoys the f*** out of me. You never hear a professional band doing this and its the biggest disappointment I have with my band
Haha you in my old band,?? yes my old band, they would tune up at full gig volume, try each pedal out, ect, ect,it would drive me insane,my thoughts are with you. My current lot, fantastic, set up clear away, look great, real pro outlook, but then we are hehe
22.
I learned by playing along with vinyl. Moving the needle back again and again, till I had the passage in my head, then , playing along in real time. I'm convinced that's what made me as a player because, whilst its easier for people nowadays with YouTube and tabs online, I think a lot of people can't play in a band as they are stuck in ruts of playing in their bedrooms with no real conception of playing with other people. It might be a poor attitude, I just feel that getting down and learning by ear, is the best way to master a piece
+1
23. Top man, well done, superb.Has your depping fee gone up,hehe wow really pleased for you
