1.
Just had a brand spanking new Noll TCM 3 band pre-amp with blend and A/P switch installed in my Aries by a certain Mr Walsh, absolute outstanding pre-amps.
Couldn't agree more, it's just wasted in my fretless as I never use the active circuit - it just sounds so good in passive!
 2. This is a really great cab that I originally bought from Thomas Eich. Very loud, light and compact. Nice detail for a 15" thanks to the variable tweeter too. A perfect one cab solution for the average gigging bassist
 3. Terrific little amp in superb condition. The size belies the volume that it can put out. All the spec is here, but it basically puts out 300 watts into 4 ohms and weighs 1.45kg! simple but powerful 4 band eq (no VLE or VPF) clip light XLR, tuner and speakon out effects loop Brilliant bit of kit. Ships in original box. £339 new, I'm firm on £260 posted in the UK.
 4. This is a clone of the F-Deck HPF (High Pass Filter) Pre, made by 4114 effects here in the UK. I bought it to tame the low end rumble on my double bass, and it performed flawlessly the one time I gigged with it. I'm only selling as I am switching to a new Bassbone OD for live work, which has HPF built in. I believe the frequency sweep is 35 hz to 140 hz, and it also has a volume control and phase switch. Please note that the unit needs to be powered by 9V DC: there is no provision for connection to a battery. It has heavy duty velcro fitted to the bottom. Cost me £95 two months ago and in mint condition, so this saves a little on a new one
 5. Recently bought this used to use with my fretless, but the reality is that I just don't use it Really easy to use with some lovely warm tones. A few marks but nothing serious. Velcro on bottom. Standard 9V DC centre negative power supply in a Boss(ish) sized case. Here's Rene doing his thing with one (some of the settings are a bit wacky IMHO). These are £179 new. I am firm on £100 posted. Thanks for looking. Gareth
 6. Bought new by me in June of this year, but used just once as I have decided to stick with a Bassbone for my switching needs. Cioks Adam Link Adam link is a small and very flat power supply for effect pedals with 4 isolated outlets and is deisgned to fit under the Metro. It offers voltages or 9 or 12V and a total output current of 700mA. The top two outputs are fixed at 9V, but the bottom two are configurable to either 9 or 12V.

Outlet 1-2: 9 or 12V DC / 100mA each
Outlet 3-4: 9V DC / 250mA each
short circuit protection of all outlets
advanced LED monitoring of each outlet
120 or 230V mains voltage operation
detachable mains power cord
6 Flex cables included, one of which is a Split Flex so you can power two pedals from it
Condition is absolutely mint. New cost was £95. I'd like £80 posted in the UK using Recorded Delivery.
 7. You may well have tried all of these steps, but worth checking. Is the issue present when you pan so only one pickup is used? Do you need to bring the pickups closer to the E string to increase output in the lower end? Have you checked that the bridge saddle is seated correctly? Is the string pinched in the nut? Is the string sitting correctly on the zero fret?
 8.
Weight is 9lbs 8oz on a pretty decent set of scales. Turns out that the strat in question is 3lbs heavier!!!!
Thanks for that Chris, a bit heavier than I'd like so I shall pass. Cheers Gareth
 9. These are superb amps.
 10.
Looks like there are signature cabs too. Look closely from 50 seconds in. The 210 on the top of the cab stack has offset drivers and a yellow Marcus Miller silhouette graphic on the bottom right corner.
Good spot. Back panel of the amp looks like 800 watts, and a sticker says "hard limiter" too. it also says "Little Mark III"....
 11. Looks like 5 band EQ, VLE and a "Millerizer" control, which I'm guessing is exactly the same as the VPF. LED backlit input? The usual nasty Markbass graphics...... (and this from someone with MB stuff!)
 12. This TCM has been used for about one year. It consists of two stacked knobs, so is perfect for upgrading a P bass to an active circuit: Stack one: Volume on top ring, mid cut/boost (+/- 15dB @ 400Hz) on lower ring, pull up for passive operation Stack two: Passive treble cut on top ring, bass boost/cut (+/- 15dB @ 40Hz) on lower ring The preamp is 9V battery powered, but you can add an additional battery to give 18 and ensure more headroom and longer battery life. The preamp can be combined with both active and passive pickups. The stacked pots have 4 mm (upper) and 6 mm (lower) solid shafts. Black stacked pots are included. Input Impedance >1 MOhm Output Impedance <10 KOhm Input Sensitivity max. 450mV @ 9V Output Voltage max. 4,5V @ 9V S-N-Ratio 96dB (1KHz/5Vss) Power Consumption typ. 0,6mA @ 9V / 800h Batt. Life Dimensions 25 x 25 x 15 mm This is what it looks like: And the knobs look like this: I will include installation instructions from Noll. These are around 140 euros new. I'm asking £[s]80[/s] 75 shipped in the UK. Thanks for looking
 13. Superb bag, but I've decided to go with a different Mono bag for my gigging needs. All the Mono spec is here, but it's essentially a large backpack with a detachable laptop section. Loads of pockets, mine is the black version, and everyone knows Mono quality is top notch. Sorry for the stock photos... This one is in excellent condition, no rips or tears or stains or anything like that. A solid 9 out of 10 in my opinion. £200 ish new, I'm firm on £120 posted in the UK.
 14. I sold a gig bag to Chay. It was an effortless transaction and he was a pleasure to deal with.
 15.
Sorry to resurrect this post again. Does anyone know where this bass is now? Robbie
Last I saw it was at an online shop called "Shady Grove", but that site closed last year I think.
 16.
Thanks for the info TPJ do you know how much they cost and is he still building? I was looking for this on Facebook and there isn't much activity on his page.
Mine was only made a couple of months ago and was £90.
 17. Looks good. Mint green would be bangin' on that finish too
 18. Superb amps. Lovely looking rig too.
