John was kind enough to put a new wiring harness together for me, but it was only after it was delivered that I realised I'd ordered solid and not split shafts by mistake, so I haven't fitted it.
It's a 500K CTS log pot for the volume and a 250K CTS pot for the tone, both solid shaft in medium thread which is 3/8" long. The capacitor is an old Sprague 0.1uF, which John told me would give a velvety mellow tone. The wires are PVC insulated, all finished off with a Switchcraft jack socket.
As usual with John's stuff, it comes pre-wired and fitted with a solderless connection, so dead easy to fit.
It also comes with a pair of black Gotoh knurled dome knobs, which cost me another £10.
The harness cost me £35: as it's brand new and never fitted I'd like £30 sent Recorded Delivery.
