  1. Personally, I would want the innards covered! Why not fashion something out of thin aluminium or wood, which should be easy enough to do. Another option is to put in in the Markbass Little Mark bag: it's designed to be used with the amp left in the bag.
  2. Without wishing to state the obvious, lofts are only cold in the winter. In the summer they can get very hot. I have kept my cabs in the garage in all seasons for decades and never had an issue. They are off the ground and wearing padded covers though.
  3. Music to my ears
  4. This is just what I wanted to hear, as although my band isn't that loud (two acoustic guitarists and an electronic drum kit) I want to keep the valve tone clean.
  5. No demo yet, but I do need to do one as I have two Franz basses (I have a fretted 5 too). My bass is a standard Sirius with upgraded maple top, whereas the RG model has a Rheingold pickup and no volume control. All Franz basses are chambered and use thermo treated woods, so they are really light and very resonant. My fretless is 8.25lbs, so nice and light. It really sings, has no dead spots on it at all, and is just a joy to play.
  6. Mert, please let us know what you think of it. Especially curious to know what the "feedback" knob does?
  7. Brilliant bit of kit. The HPF on each channel is so useful.
  8. I sold an amp to Phil. Instant payment and terrific comms. It's all good here
  9. Superb cabs.
  10. It's always been unlined for me. Lines on the board are more confusing to my eyes, but I totally get that they work for others!
  11. A big fat +1 to this. The La Bella white nylon strings are fab.
  12. I had one just like this, in a 5 Star Case just like this!
  13. Bought at Christmas and mint condition. Never even been out of the house. If you are unfamiliar with this item, they are designed so the amp is left inside the bag when in use, as both ends unzip and there are vent holes on the side so the fan can do its thing. Simple but very effective. Best price new is £54, which is what I paid. Get this one for £44 posted. Thanks for looking. Gareth
  14. That's wonderful news on both counts Nick. So pleased for you
  15. Not sure which one you ordered specifically, but the Big BladeMan 4 is only £135 in Bass Direct!
  16. I would very much like this.
  17. and possibly even ....
  18. Or even a Stubby 60, stacking two on top of each other...
  19. Indeed. What scale length do you need? I only ask as I have some 38" winding La Bella white nylons for sale if you fancy giving them a go?
  20. La Bella, Galli, GHS and Rotosound also do nylon flats. There are probably more out there too.
