  1. I've found an excellent bag to keep the Little Stubby in. The Gator 19" wide DJ Controller Messenger bag. You need to add a thick piece of solid foam to the bottom of the bag inside for the amp to sit on, but other than that it's very good if you don't want a flight case.
  2. That was my thinking. Seriously, these things sound incredible and they have decent volume too.
  3. Could you measure the string lengths from ball end to silk for me, especially the B and E strings?
  4. Couple of photos to show what I mean about the foam. The central block is 39x24cm There are also foam coated wooden dividers you can use to divide the case into separate compartments, or you could do a combination of foam and dividers.
  5. Brand new in box. Bought to keep an amp in but it's not suitable. Pick and pluck has been separated to accommodate the amp but probably easy enough to reuse as it all came out in one chunk. Material: 4mm Black Type Hinged w440mm x d320mm x h90mm base External Dims: w440mm x d320mm x h145mm Foam lined Shoulder strap available for carrying purposes x2 Surface mounted catches Lockable with keys x1 strong black carrying handle Weight: 2.1 kilos The case was a version without the tool pouches in the lid: just the foam, dividers, strap and keys. I paid £52 posted, asking £35 posted for effectively a brand new case.
  6. Very happy to be the first feedback for @dorsetbod. Prompt comms, collected on time. No issues whatsoever
  7. Pretty sure Picato went out of business a little while ago....
  8. It’s a new old stock ECC81. Warmer tone, and allows me to push the gain a bit more before it starts to break up.
  9. Just popped an old Mullard into V1. Oh wow 😲
  10. Work in Portsmouth, live in Alton.
  11. I had one of these cabs. As Rich says, not a lightweight cab but pretty easy to lift all the same. Plus they look fantastic!
  12. Small scale US builder. Very high quality cab. Bass Direct used to import them but now there’s no UK dealer.
  13. I was going purely by the visuals, but yes it is quite MK in terms of ergonomics.
  14. Very Larry Graham
  15. It expands out by about an inch. You could easily fit a laptop in there plus a couple of leads. A rolled strap would not fit though. there’s also a little mesh pocket inside to put keys, plectrums, that kind of thing.
  16. Used but certainly not abused. There's some light scuffing to the front and the corners of the front pocket have worn a touch, but overall it is in very good condition. Price is posted in the UK.
  17. Awesome head. Perfect for using two basses with, built in tuner, choice of two footswitchable channels with effects. Loud as a loud thing. An absolute steal at this price.
  18. Ashdown Little Stubby into a Baer ML112 ❤️❤️ As punchy or as smooth as you like, depending on how you set the feedback control on the amp, and the 6" driver in the cab gives a real presence to the sound in the mix. Plenty loud enough for me to gig with, too.
  19. This bass used to be mine. I had it fully refurbished and fretted by Ken Smith. It's an awesome player. Records beautifully.
  20. Another shout out to MoJoKe for service above and beyond.  He is an absolute legend :drinks:

Another comment for his feedback thread then?

      Feedback for MoJoKe

  21. Returned to Germany for Xaver to sell.
  22. Just bought a cab from Paul and the transaction could not have been smoother. He even did a two hour round trip to deliver it to me! Absolute legend.
  23. Bigger cabinet and superior tweeter.
