    Have had this problem with an instrument cable tried it with different instruments, amps ect with out it changing checked both jacks but unable to find any kind of fault so I just stopped using that cable. I guess the insulation must have been breaking down/faulty or some such thing I'm no expert on these things.

    I use the same head with Vanderkley mnt 112's, 212's and 15+6 depending on the gig really nice sounding good looking cabs

    This is so much cab for so little money some may remember mine being used at a bassbash for comparisons of class D against all valve amps and even the class D's sounded good

    I have just recently put a set on a P bass and was quite surprised at how careful I have to be not to play to hard I like the strings but they are not forgiving of my clumsiness and I had to set the action just a tad higher than I would normally and tweek bridge heights to accommodate. Probably not your problem at all but just thought I would voice my experience with them.

    I use a 4ohm version of this in a three piece blues/rock band with a Mesa Walkabout amp and it goes stupidly loud if you want it to or will produce a huge full bottom end if you want it to and just about anything in between seriously recommend this or any of the Vanderkley cabs (also have a 1 x 12 that i use for small gigs) cant believe nobody wants this cheap too.

    I haven't got bored of the 15+6 yet works really well with my Musicman through a Walkabout in a 3 piece classic rock band

    45 65 85 105 ish they are quite low tension compared with the Roto nickels I have tried before and dont the Rotos use coloured ball ends?
