1. Percy Jones in the early Brand X days.....
2. My twopenneth worth .... cherry sunburst with maple!
3.
Hi! I'm the person looking for a bassist for www.americancircus.co.uk If your interested please leave me your email address so i can send you the info - I'm about to start a post on here.. and belive me - the trailers are a bit more sophisticated than you might think
..Thanks, received the email..
4. I've always liked the idea of running away with the Circus!... Ever since I read an article in a bass magazine about a female bass player on a circus tour.... Dunno if I could commit to this at the present time but I would be really interested in seeing the contract & details......
5. nah, soz!.... I got it...... very usable it is too!
6. Very impressive!..... Great drummer too! ....thanks for sharing
7. anything off 'Shadows & light' by Joni.... a great live album that really had an effect on me... Personally, I think some of Jaco's best playing was working Joni tunes... when I 1st heard 'In France they kiss on Main street' ...it blew me away!.....
8.
Lord Of Light (Hawkwind - Space Ritual) might be suitable. Good bass riff but pretty simple.
...... Same here!! ...All of Space ritual got my bass bone vibrating but Lord of Light was the 1st line that I managed to work out!
9.
That's a pretty awesome line-up you have there. I recognise all of them apart from the lady.... Let's see...Paul Michael Glaser (the original Dave Starsky) on the left, Robin Gibb in the middle, then Jenson Button and Simon Pegg on the right.

Could it be Sting in drag?
ok.... the secret identities of our supergroup have been rumbled!
10.
I never wanted to look like anyone in the audience at a gig...
Lovin' the bishop outfit!
11. My main covers band 'The Man from Funkle' started off as exclusively 70's funk/disco ... but has thankfully evolved into a more rounded eclectic 'pop-funk-rock-soul' outfit... With an array of stage looks that on reflection, can be a bit scary!... Here's two... the beginning & quite recent...
12. Tried a lot, over the years... but I've been settled on these for the longest, so far... keep coming back to them..
13. Thanks for that .... more Sandberg loveliness!
14.
The latest version:
....DROOL!! .... Loveliness all over!
15.
Ooh green and maple, yum! Unusual to see a natural headstock on a 'Berg.
... Yes, i was very specific in what i ordered. originally I went for no scratchplate at all but soon found that my thumb was cutting a groove in the body!... so added the see-thru one. This thread is making me re-live why I 1st got interested in investigating Sandberg... Love that basic shape, It really works for me... The fact that they are great basses too sealed the deal!
16.
I LIKE that!! A bit "Squarepusher-esque" if you don't mind me saying so...
...I'll take that as a massive compliment, sir!... Thank you kindly...
17. What a beautiful looking collection, TRBboy.... I see you have a greenburst/clearplate in your armoury!... tres cool! I could use taking some better pics soon... found this for now, my basic5...
18.
This is the first thing that popped into my head when presented with lyrics about birds and rabbits, a melody and a click track. Pretty cheesy, will probably change it completely once the rest of the band wade in with contributions, but you did ask http://soundcloud.co...eid/bouncy-bass
Infectious little ditty!.... quite like the simplicity of the arrangement too... but what it needs is ....more cowbell!
19. This, I guess....( albeit rough & unfinished) https://soundcloud.com/deepworm/untitled-waiting
20. Me too!.... actually I almost went for it... coulda dumped something of my swollen board for that!.... but I resisted. maybe the 1st step to recovery.... gotta stop buying pedals! (unless of course, they are beautiful pretty shiny ones that call my name in the sweetest seductive voice..............)
21. heh heh
22. Hello to you... another Brizzlite here!
23.
Did he sort the jack output for you too? Do you have web address or contact number for him - looks like a smart mod to the board.
Yes he did.... & fixed a couple of faults for me too... replaced a faulty active/passive switch in the multi-comp & traced a 'fizzing' slight distortion problem I was having in the chain (which I was convinced was the Phathed but turned out to be the Octaver!) He did a great job & it only cost me £30! I don't think he has a website... & he always seems to have a lot of work on (a good sign!) ... Martin Bailey : 01179 773720 Eskimobassist.... Yup! Vol maxed out on Colorsound fuzz!... Live it makes it just about right & isn't as extreme as it looks!
24.
I presume that the power and jack input were put in place by yourself - interested to know how you do that?
Nah!.... I got Martin Bailey (the remaining Bailey Bro in Bristol) to sort the power this time!... The Jack is the output, my input is the compressor, which routes either straight out or through the chain via the looper... Martin took my old Rocktron power supp (wall wart style) & adapted it to run through the IC socket. ...it was one of these originally..... He also put a LED in my Colorsound fuzz for me... tidy!
25. This!.... Bit of a tit! ...not even real bass.... F**king great chords!... & everythang is on the ONE! love it! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GeZZr_p6vB8
