1.
Anyone looking for a proper gigging set up should consider this - they are great amps. GLWTS.
Indeed they are!... thanks for that
2. All the spec....1001RB-II • 700 watts (4 ohms) plus 50 watt horn bi-amp system • Active 4-band EQ • Adjustable contour, presence & 4/5 string voicing • Boost (valve effect) • Separate tweeter & woofer volume controls • Effects loop & tuner out with mute • XLR out with level, ground lift & pre/post switch • Speakon & 1/4″ outputs • 19×3.5×8 (2 space) • 22 lbs.
3. The classic Gallien Krueger 1001RB Mark II head. Has served me well. Had it regularly serviced by my tech guy... Will throw in the Gator bag. Average condition... it's been a gigging animal so has taken a few knocks! I want to downsize to a MB500 (my ideal would be the MB500 fusion, but it's a case of affording it!)
4. I'd be interested in this but I'd need to sell my GK 1001RB ii first... if it's cash you are after
5. I believe this ad is Trigo Records Looking for bass player with harmony vocals and a professional attitude. Hotel and ship entertainment. Pop, rock, soul, blues, folk, rock'n'roll, reggae, jazz. Trio formation. Must be free to undertake long contracts away from home. Non-smoker only. More about the company: I am a singer / songwriter / entertainer, hiring backing musicans on an ongoing basis I also run a small label Could be a nice little gig for someone......
6. I am a veggie... living in Bristol though... How are you getting on with this search?
7. Just back from 7 nights on the trot in Wayne's Bar, Nice... Geez.... hot, sweaty, mental! Anyone know that gig?
8. A thumbs up for the Neo-Pak... a great little amp. The Genz Benz EQ is well good, very usable.. I've had one for several years now.... wouldn't part with it. That parametric mid set at 150 & boosted a little really helps cut through the mix with a fat but articulate warmth...
9. Had a bit of a festival weekend...The Newt Beer Fest on Friday... Played pretty early & partied till the sun came up! Then on to a little Woodstock themed party near Churchinford for Saturday.... Lovely bunch of people & such a sweet vibe that we ended up staying over there too... A good time had by all!
10. Ha!... loving this thread. some right corkers Back in the 80's I remember a pub rock band doing the local circuit called Beergut 100, made I titter a bit! Anyone remember Haircut 100? (...what kind of name is that anyway?)
11.
Haha, I'm quite the opposite to a lot of people here. I'm a big, big fan of The XX. I love their music and only wish I could write like them. Jamie XX, the guy on keys/samples/drums/etc etc is one very talented man and when i saw them live the first time, I was really surprised they could pulled off what they do live, due to the amount of production on the albums. I thought their performance at Glasto was exactly expected of them and I didn't feel they disappointed. I totally 'get' their music and I really enjoy it. They're not The Rolling Stones, and they're not in your face exciting but I feel their music is honest and they're not trying to be anything that they're not.
I agree... found them quite captivating & refreshing... Have got hold of the 1st two albums since
12. Thought it might be worth a bump on this.... been a while now...
13.
This is still available. Have added a Straight Sale option. I have it bubble wrapped and boxed already as I was planning on a trade that didn't work out so that's half the job done for a delivery job if so desired. Will post pics soon.
Hmm, Too big for me. I already have a Pedaltrain 1 for plenty o' pedal needs! .....Want a mini or nano for a 4 pedal only option...
14. Don't mean to highjack ...but if anyone here doesn't do this swop & still wants to sell a nano or a mini.... I'd be interested!
15. Just sold the cab & the guy doesn't want the cover... So thought I'd put it up here in case someone needs one...
