    I am also a lefty playing right handed..... geez, it is common isn't it? I had no idea so many were. 1st time I picked up a guitar I went to hold it lefty but started to learn righty... lefty instruments being rarer & more expensive...

    A set of DR Hi-Beam MR5... 130, 105, 85, 65, 45. Put on my Stingray 5 for 1 gig[i] (cut to size though)[/i] ....straight off again after! Cost me £36.95 from Strings direct.... what's fair?...[b] £20[/b] including postage? One careful owner, low mileage etc etc....

Didn't like the feel, didn't like the sound...[i]all gnarly & no warmth[/i]... they're coming off after 1 gig!.. back to D'addario EXL 170-5's for me.... I don't think I've ever not liked a set of strings so much before!... That surprised me...

    Well... the 1st bassline that I really got happening & was proud of the achievement, was Lord of Light by Hawkwind (the Space Ritual version) ....... then the Universe opened up!

    Aria P bass copy (really well made bass.. with DiMarzio PU that I'd put in) 1st gigging rig was a Fender bassman 100 & Leech 2x15 cab ... used that for a long while!... Now it's EB Musicman Stingray 5 or Sandberg basic 5 with either a Genz Benz neo-pak or GK RB1001-II & Aguilar GS112 x2 cabs
